Athiya and KL Rahul expecting 1st child? Suniel Shetty seemingly confirms pregnancy

Bollywood actor Athiya Shetty and cricketer KL Rahul might be the next parents-to-be of B-town. Athiya's father and Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty has dropped a major hint, seemingly confirming that he is soon going to be a nana (grandfather). Athiya and Rahul, who prefer to keep their private lives under wraps, have been married for over a year now.

Did Suniel Shetty confirm Athiya-Rahul's pregnancy?

Suniel Shetty is currently one of the judges on the popular dance reality show 'Dance Deewane' along with Madhuri Dixit. During the latest 'Grandparents' special episode of the show, the host, Bharti Singh, humorously told Suniel Shetty that he needs to behave when he becomes a grandfather as he is too cool to be one. Responding to it, the Bollywood actor said, 'Yes, next season, when I come, I will be walking on the stage like Nana'.

While neither Athiya nor KL has confirmed the pregnancy, Suneil Shetty's enthusiasm has elated fans who are now anticipating an official announcement.

About Athiya and KL's wedding

After courting for several years, Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul tied the knot on January 23, 2023, in a South Indian wedding ceremony. Their intimate wedding ceremony took place at Suniel Shetty’s spacious Khandala mansion in Jahaan.

While Athiya has yet to announce her next acting project, she was seen cheering for KL's IPL team Lucknow Super Giants' in their match against the Rajasthan Royals last week.
