Arjun Kapoor responds to troll who claimed he tried to look tall while posing with David Beckham

Arjun Kapoor gave a savage reply to a troll who alleged that the actor tried to look taller while posing alongside football legend David Beckham.

Arjun, who attended the dinner party hosted by Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja for Beckham, shared some inside pictures on social media, triggering criticism over his alleged height deception.

A meme page circulated a collage juxtaposing Arjun's photo with Beckham's alongside Google search images displaying their respective heights, prompting a question on how he managed it.

Arjun swiftly addressed the comment, clarifying his actual height of 183 cms, slightly over 6 feet, urging people not to believe everything they read.

Amid the backlash, Arjun also posted a heartfelt note, expressing his excitement about fulfilling a childhood dream by meeting Beckham.

He shared details of their conversation spanning various topics, including Beckham's life in Miami, football, India, travel, family, and philanthropy during a 15-minute dinner table chat.

Arjun expressed immense admiration for Beckham's sincerity and generosity in engaging with everyone present, allowing each fan to feel elated with a photo and a moment of interaction.

He extended gratitude to Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja for making his childhood dream of meeting Beckham a reality.

After attending the India vs New Zealand semi-final match, Beckham arrived at Sonam’s house for dinner.

Beckham was on a three-day visit to India as the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. UNICEF and the International Cricket Council (ICC) joined hands to promote gender inclusion and women's empowerment through cricket.

He also interacted with Sara Ali Khan at the Meta event held in Mumbai.
