Pakistani actor Mahira Khan is a certified Arijit Singh fan. Mahira, who made her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in 'Raees', recently attended the singer's Dubai concert. A video from the concert has now piqued fans' interest; it shows Arijit expressing his gratitude to Khan for gracing his concert with her presence. Notably, Arijit lent his voice to the 'Raees' song 'Zaalima'.

Arijit and Mahira's adorable exchange

In the viral video, Arijit Singh is seen introducing Mahira Khan to the audience in the middle of his concert. He also extended an apology to the actor for failing to recognise her at first glance in the sea full of spectators. While addressing the fans, the playback singer said, “You guys must be surprised, should I reveal? I should reveal it in a very nice way. Can we have the camera there? I was trying to recognise this person, then remembered I had sung for her. Ladies and gentlemen Mahira Khan sitting right in front of me. Think about I was singing her song Zaalima and it’s her song and she was singing and standing and I couldn’t recognise her. I am so sorry. Maam gratitude and thank you so much.”

Mahira was quick to acknowledge Arijit's sweet gesture and shouted 'it's okay' from the crowd. The heartwarming exchange between the two artists has elated fans.

Mahira is known for her roles in Pakistani dramas 'Humsafar', 'Bin Roye', and 'Shehr-e-Zaat', and the films 'Superstar' and 'The Legend of Maula Jatt'. On the personal front, the actor got married to Pakistani businessman Salim Karim. She walked down the aisle with her son from her first marriage.
