Anushka-Virat react as daughter Vamika’s pictures go viral: ‘We were caught off guard’

Actor Anushka Sharma and cricketer Virat Kohli have put out a statement after pictures of their daughter Vamika were captured on live camera at an India vs South Africa match on Sunday.

Taking to Instagram, Anushka and Virat said that they were caught off guard and did not know that the camera was on Anushka and Vamika.

The duo clarified that they didn't mean to allow Vamika to be filmed, repeating their request that photos of their daughter not be taken or shared.

Photos of Anushka Sharma holding Vamika in her arms at the match went viral after they were picked up on the broadcast cameras.

The couple had been seen requesting media persons not to click pictures of their daughter and respect their privacy on several occasions.

Anushka had also penned a 'thank you' note for all the paps after they refrained from clicking the pictures of their daughter.
