Anil Kapoor hosts Javed Akhtar’s b’day party; Sonam Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Shabana, Farhan attend

Actor Anil Kapoor hosted a lavish birthday celebration in honor of lyricist and screenwriter Javed Akhtar as he marked another year of life.

The event saw the presence of numerous celebrities, including Madhuri Dixit, Sonam Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Shabana Azmi, Farhan Akhtar, Boney Kapoor, Zoya Akhtar, and Reema Kagti, who came together to commemorate the veteran's special day.

As the media had gathered outside the venue, Javed Akhtar, accompanied by his friends and family, came out to pose for photographs.

Several photographers were repeatedly calling his name while he was trying to take pictures with his wife, Shabana Azmi, displeased with the commotion, the lyricist politely requested them to maintain silence.

Javed Akhtar also took the opportunity to pose for photographs with his children, Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar, outside his residence.

Additionally, his close friends Boney Kapoor and Anil Kapoor joined in the celebrations. Sonam Kapoor and her husband, Anand Ahuja, were among the guests as well.

Sonam opted for an experimental black jumpsuit, while Anand went for a casual look for the evening. Other notable attendees at the party included Divya Dutta, Ashutosh Gowariker, Anupam Kher, Ritesh Sidwani, and Rajkumar Hirani.

Madhuri Dixit made a striking entrance at the celebration alongside her husband, Dr. Shriram Nene. Madhuri looked elegant in a yellow saree paired with a matching jacket. Farhan Akhtar arrived with his wife, Shibani Dandekar. Notably, Javed Akhtar's first wife, Honey Irani, was also seen at the event. Zoya Akhtar posed with her mother, Honey Irani, in front of the paparazzi.
