Amitabh Bachchan is indeed one of the biggest cheerleaders for his son Abhishek Bachchan. The veteran actor is celebrating Abhishek’s Filmfare OTT win for best actor for ‘Dasvi’ that released earlier this year on Netflix.

Taking to social media, Big B expressed how elated he was about his son’s win. ‘My pride .. my joy .. you have proved your point .. you were derided , ridiculed mocked .. but you silently without any tom tomming , showed your mettle .. you are and shall ever be the BEST .... and remember WHTCTW ..!!!’

Amitabh’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda dropped a red heart emoji on his post. Neena Gupta and Nimrat Kaur are among many others who have comment on his post.

Recently, Big B shared a word of appreciation for his son when his kabaddi team, Jaipur Pink Panthers, won the Pro Kabaddi final. He shared how Abhishek bore the ‘brunt of bias’ for years, but he ‘silently’ worked his destined way.

Abhishek Bachchan has been pitted against his father from the time he made his Bollywood debut in 2000.
