'All India Rank' trailer: Varun Grover’s debut film is a struggle story of an IIT aspirant

Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal has presented the hard-hitting trailer for Varun Grover's debut directorial film, 'All India Rank', which offers a realistic glimpse into the rat race to bag an IIT seat. The film stars Bodhisattva Sharma, Samta Sudiksha, Shashi Bhushan, Geeta Agrawal, Sheeba Chaddha, Neeraj Ayush Pandey, and Saadat Khan in pivotal roles.

The trailer follows a young boy, Vivek, whose parents would not settle for anything less than his admission into the IIT. Carrying the weight of expectations, the teenager finds himself fighting a lone battle while facing tough competition from other students. In addition to admission into the IIT, he must secure a high 'All India Rank', which further adds to his stressful state of mind.

Vicky shared the trailer and wrote, “Hum dono engineers ka cinema ki duniya mein safar lagbhag saath hi shuru hua with... Masaan. “Saala yeh dukh kaahe khatam nahi hota bey!” A line written by him has, over the years, evolved to be one of the most noteworthy scenes of my filmography so far. I’m so happy and proud to be presenting the trailer for ‘ALL INDIA RANK', the directorial debut of my dear and incredibly talented friend #VarunGrover. Produced by Sanjay Routray and Sarita Patil, the film will be released in theatres on February 23rd. Sharing the trailer, Varun wrote, "Varun wrote on social media, “A part of our hearts, coming to you in theatres on 23rd February 2024. My first film as a director – can’t wait for the world to see.”
