Alia Bhatt shares her first song vlog on YouTube; we cull out the best bits

Alia Bhatt has shared a new vlog on YouTube, featuring her first shoot post pregnancy. The video features the shoot of ‘Tum Kya Mile’ from her upcoming film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'.

Alia took to Instagram to share some glimpses from her vlog. The post was captioned, ‘My first ever song vlog is out on YouTube! Go watch now (with heart emoji)’

In the 7-minute-long YouTube video, Alia briefly describes her journey of shooting the song post-partum. The vlog has a dreamy starting to it as director Karan Johar talks about how all of Alia’s childhood dreams are coming true and she affirms in positive.

The video shows a beautiful scenery of Kashmir where the song was shot. The actor takes the viewer through the preparations that go in to the making of the song.

The actor also talks about how most think that a song shoot is glamourous, but how the actors had to walk through the snow.

The ‘Dear Zindagi’ actor then moves on to her prep for Rani after postpartum. Alia shares that she had 4 months after she gave birth to her daughter to prepare for the song.

Alia’s video also features Karan Johar in the second half. The actor says that she is working with the filmmaker after 10 years. The duo then talk about the chiffon sarees in romantic songs. Karan says he is doing a chiffon saere song like this after 17 years.

The last part of the vlog talks about the wrap of the shoot where Karan reveals that they shot in Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Srinagar. The duo also talks about their favourite sarees that Alia wore for the song.
