Raazi (2018)

This Meghna Gulzar film, which was based on the book 'Calling Sehmat', saw Alia Bhatt in the role of a spy. The film revolved around the situation that arises after a young girl Sehmat (Alia Bhatt) gets married off to a Pakistani officer (Vicky Kaushal). Gully Boy (2019)

In this film, Alia Bhatt essayed the role of the fiery Safeena. This Zoya Akhtar-directed film also became India’s official entry to the Oscars.
