Akshay Kumar shares motion poster of R Balki's next film 'Chup'

Akshay Kumar shared the first-look poster from R Balki's next film, a psychological thriller titled 'Chup: The Revenge of an Artist', which is an ode to the legendary artist, Guru Dutt. The film stars Sunny Deol, Pooja Bhatt, & Dulquer Salmaan and Shreya Dhanwanthary in leading roles.

Akshay Kumar who starred in R Balki's 'Padman' shared the poster of the film on Twitter, on Guru Dutt's death anniversary. He wrote,"After watching this, one cannot stay #Chup! I have so many questions, what an intriguing poster! Eagerly looking forward to it, #RBalki.” The poster was also shared by Amitabh Bachchan.

Few days ago, photos from the set of Chup: The Revenge of an Artist' went viral on the social media. R Balki is known for many critically acclaimed films like ‘Cheeni Kum’, ‘Paa’, ‘Ki & Ka’ and ‘Padman’.

'Chup' is slated to release by 2022. It has been jointly produced by Hope Productions and Rakesh Jhunjhunwala. The screenplay and dialogues of the film have been co-written by R Balki, scriptwriter Raja Sen and Rishi Virmani.
