Ajay Devgn and Kajol twin in black, Shriya Saran kisses husband Andrei Koscheev at 'Drishyam 2' screening

‘Drishyam 2’, starring Ajay Devgn and Tabu, is finally in theatres. A special screening of the Abhishek Pathak directorial was held in Mumbai on Thursday. The lead actors were accompanied by their spouses to watch the film.

Ajay arrived for the screening with Kajol and they posed for the cameras together. The couple was twinning in black. Ajay donned a black tee and trousers paired with a matching jacket, while Kajol wore a black saree.

Ishita Dutta was joined by actor-husband Vatsal Sheth. She chose a shimmery green saree for the occasion while Vatsal wore a black suit.

Shriya Saran was accompanied by her husband Andrei Koscheev. She shared a quick kiss with her husband before entering the venue.

Vishal Bhardwaj, Sohail Khan, Vidyut Jammwal, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, Sharad Kelkar, Saurabh Shukla were among others celebrities who attended the screening.

Ajay Devgn will be reprising the role of Vijay Salgoankar in ‘Drishyam 2’ while Tabu is returning as Meera Deshmukh, Inspector General of Police. Shriya Saran plays Ajay’s wife and Ishita Dutta will play the role of his daughter. The film also stars Akshaye Khanna as Inspector General Tarun Ahlawat who will investigate the murder case once again in the sequel.

‘Drishyam’ was a remake of 2013's Malayalam movie of the same name. It was helmed by National-Award-winning director Nishikant Kamat, who died in 2020.
