Aishwarya Rai holidaying in New York sans husband Abhishek Bachchan amid divorce rumours; pic goes viral

Aishwarya Rai was spotted posing for a photo with a fan during what appears to be a holiday in New York. The actor was seen without her husband Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. This marks Aishwarya's first public appearance since Abhishek made headlines for liking a post about divorce.

The fan, Jerée Reyna, shared the photo clicked at the restaurant where she works on Instagram. Aishwarya was sporting a chic red and black outfit and flashed her contagious smile for the camera.

Sharing the photo, Jerée wrote, ‘Meeting your idol twice in one lifetime deserves a spot on the grid swipe to see me at my most unhinged Aish, thank you for always being so kind to me. You listened so intently as I told you about the impact you’ve had in my life. it was always my dream to thank you for it. I wish you all the happiness and joy in this world.’

When a fan asked her what the occasion was, she replied, ‘She was on holiday and came into my job!’

The photo was eventually shared on Reddit and fans were thrilled to get a rare glimpse of the actor. ‘Goddess. Hope she makes the most stunning comeback in the history of Bollywood. She deserves so effin much!’ one fan wrote. ‘I really want her to do the biggest comeback Bollywood has ever seen. She is still looking like a goddess even at this age,’ added another. ‘She looks gorgeous,’ a third fan commented.

Soon after attending Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding, Aishwarya flew out of Mumbai. She was seen at the airport with her daughter Aaradhya earlier this month.

At the wedding, she made headlines for walking the red carpet after the Bachchan family entered. Her videos greeting Rekha at the wedding also went viral.
