Aditya Roy Kapur to star alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu in Raj-DK's upcoming project, 'Rakhtabeej'

Aditya Roy Kapur has reportedly been roped in for an upcoming web series by Raj and DK, tentatively titled 'Rakhtabeej.' Samantha Ruth Prabhu will join him as the female lead in this action-packed show. This marks Aditya's second venture into the world of OTT platforms following his role in 'The Night Manager.'

According to sources, Aditya gave his approval for the project in May, with Samantha joining soon after. Both actors have already begun their preparations for the roles, focussing on physical training ahead of joint sessions.

Raj and DK are currently occupied with shooting the third season of 'Family Man,' and are expected to commence filming 'Rakhtabeej' in August. The duo are yet to confirm these reports.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is a frequent collaborator with duo is also set to appear in 'Citadel: Honey Bunny' with Varun Dhawan. This series is part of the Citadel universe and promises a blend of spy action and a love story set in the 1990s. The action thriller will be streaming on Prime Video soon. Apart from Varun and Samantha, it stars Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saquib Saleem, and Sikandar Kher.
