Singer Aditya Narayan is facing massive backlash on social media for striking a fan and discarding their phone during a concert at a Chhattisgarh college. In a viral video, Aditya, who is performing ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ from Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Don’, reacts angrily to a fan recording him.

While the cause of Aditya's outburst remains unclear, he seemed to hit the fan with his microphone. He then snatched his phone and threw it into the crowd before resuming his performance. The audience and social media users were appalled by his actions.

‘What is wrong with Aditya Narayan? So arrogant and for what? Disrespectful towards his own fans?’ a social media user wrote on X. ‘His audacity is infuriating. bro actually hit the guys hand with his mic too,’ added another. ‘Are you kidding me right now? Who does he think he is? What a douche,’ added another. ‘I have rooted for him for so long. Not again,’ a comment read.

Aditya has a history of controversies in Chhattisgarh. In 2017, he was involved in a brawl with airport staff at Raipur airport. A viral video captured him saying, ‘Teri chaddi nahi utari na, to mera naam Aditya Narayan nahi,’ he said in the infamous video.
