Abhay Deol took to social media and dismissed the plan. He shared a poster from ‘Zindagi Naa Milegi Dobara’, saying the sequel was part of joke. Sharing the popular meme template from the movie, he wrote, “Telling me we are making ZNMD 2. Then saying it was just a joke! Is Not Funny!”

Fans are really upset with the revelation and have reacted to Abhay’s post. A social media user wrote, “Don’t do this, don’t give us hopes”. Some fans were not in the favour of part two as they don’t want it to ruin the original one. A user wrote, “Nah it’s okay. I don’t want it to ruin the first one.”
