Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Aamir Khan arrives at polling booth accompanied by ex-wife Kiran Rao | Watch

Despite being busy with the shoot of his next film, Bollywood’s ‘Mr Perfectionist’, Aamir Khan made time to exercise his voting rights. The actor was not alone when he reached the polling booth in Mumbai.

The Bollywood superstar was accompanied by his ex-wife Kiran Rao as he arrived at the polling booth in Mumbai to cast his vote. The former couple posed and smiled before entering the poll booth and flaunted their inked fingers after casting their votes.

Aamir Khan looked much younger and sported a black t-shirt and denim jeans. Vocal on several social and political issues, the actor urged everyone and especially youth to come out and vote. Speaking to the media, he asked the citizens not to waste their crucial vote.

On professional front, Aamir is currently shooting for his next, ‘Sitaare Jameen Par’ with Genelia D’Souza. The shooting is taking place in Delhi. Recently, some pictures of the two actors from the sets of their film went viral on the internet. Despite being away from acting, Khan has been active behind the camera.

Meanwhile, Kiran Rao is enjoying the success of her latest release ‘Laapataa Ladies’. Rao received lots of praises for her direction and vision. The film was also backed by Aamir Khan.

Mumbai, home to top Bollywood A-listers, film stars and other artists, headed to polls in fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024. 49 Lok Sabha seats from 8 states and union territories are up for grab today. 27.78 % voter turnout was recorded till 1 pm in Mumbai.
