Akanksha Puri opens up about her ‘Bigg Boss’ OTT 2 eviction; says ‘I was targeted from day 1’

Akanksha Puri, who was ousted from ‘Bigg Boss’ OTT 2 on July 2, talked about her eviction from the Salman Khan-hosted reality show in a recent interview. She said that she felt targeted on the show from day 1 and never got a chance to showcase her game.

Akanksha shared that people called her out for being ‘confident’ and having a ‘Miss India personality’. She said, ‘They could not accept me and that made me look fake, which I am not.’

She also talked about her ‘kiss controversy’ with Jad Hadid and said that she was unaware this incident would become the talk of the town. Akansha said she gave her 100% for the task and she kissed Jad as an artist.

‘I kissed as a part of a task. I wasn't moving my lips because I just had to perform the task for 30 seconds. Aap mere boyfriend ya husband nahi hain jo mujhe properly perform karna hai. Mujhe woh 30 second complete karke… woh task jitna tha and maine wahi kia. Ye mere kisi web series ya movie ka scene nahi hai…aisa kuch nahi (you're not my partner that I would perform a kiss with you. For me it was a task which I wanted to win. It wasn't a scene from my film or series)…,’she said.

Akanksha Puri was nominated along with Abhishek Malhan and Jiya Shankar. Akanksha was evicted days after her steamy kiss with Jad Hadid on live camera during a ‘task.'
