In just three weeks since its release, Netflix's latest hit series, "Adolescence," has taken the streaming world by storm, securing its place as the 9th most popular show on Netflix's all-time Top 10 list.

Garnering an impressive 96.7 million views to date, including 30.4 million in the latest week alone, the show has captivated audiences worldwide and entered the Top 10 list in all 93 countries where Netflix operates.

Leading the list is "Wednesday" (Season 1), followed in succession by "Stranger Things" (Season 4), "DAHMER: Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story," "Bridgerton" (Season 1), "The Queen's Gambit," "Bridgerton" (Season 3), "The Night Agent" (Season 1), and "Fool Me Once." "Stranger Things" (Season 3) completes the list at the 10th spot.

"Adolescence," a gripping crime drama crafted by creators Jack Thorne and Stephen Graham, unfolds the harrowing tale of 13-year-old Jamie Miller, played by Owen Cooper.

The plot thickens as Jamie is embroiled in a murder case involving a girl from his school. Released on March 13, 2025, the limited series is composed of four compelling episodes.

The show also features robust performances by Stephen Graham, Ashley Walters, Erin Doherty, and Faye Marsay.

Demonstrating its broad appeal, "Adolescence" has caught the attention of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who announced his support for a Netflix initiative to make the series accessible for free in UK secondary schools.

This educational move will be facilitated via the Into Film streaming service, with the charity Tender providing crucial educational guides and resources to delve into the show's themes with students.

Speaking to Variety, Starmer shared his personal connection to the series, stating, "As a father, watching this show with my teenage son and daughter, I can tell you- it hit home hard."

With its potent storytelling and significant cultural impact, "Adolescence" continues to leave an indelible mark on audiences and critics alike.
