Watch: 'Ek dua-salaam... hamara bhi Ram Ram': Priyanka and Akhilesh greet each other while campaigning

A rare moment of civility between political rivals amidst the rush of elections as Congress Priyanka Gandhi and Samajwadi Party's Akhilesh Yadav crossed paths.

While Priyanka waved at Akhilesh Yadav and his ally Jayant Chaudhary through the sun-roof of her car, the duo greeted her from top of their open bus while campaigning in Bulandshahr.

The SP chief even posted a photograph from the chance meeting on Twitter and wrote 'ek dua-salam tehzeeb ke naam'. The Congress leader reciprocated with a video and wrote 'hamara bhi aapko Ram Ram'.

The assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh begin from February 10 and will be conducted in 7 phases. The counting of votes in on March 10.
