UP Election 2022: PM Modi's first digital charcha, asks BJP workers about poll atmosphere

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday kickstarted BJP's virtual campaign for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections.

The PM digitally interacted with the BJP workers in his constituency Varanasi on Tuesday. More than 10,000 workers reprtedly join the digital interaction.

The Prime Minister asked the party workers how the poll atmosphere is in Varanasi, to which the workers said that people of the ancient city are happy with PM Modi and the party’s government led by chief minister Yogi Adityanath.

He asked the partymen to work as a team in the upcoming polls.

The Prime Minister, during his interaction, laid emphasis on the expansion of the organisation and development of the party workers.

The interaction took place virtually since the Election Commission has suspended all physical rallies till January 22 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

This was the Prime Minister’s first interaction with the party workers after the Election Commission announced the schedule of assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh last week.

The PM also directed the BJP workers to tell people about the welfare schemes implemented by the party in the state.

Uttar Pradesh will start voting in the seven-phase Assembly elections from February 10. The voting will end on March 7 and results will be out on March 10.
