Kangana Ranaut, the actor-turned-politician currently campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections, expressed her desire to win the "MP of the Year" award, stating she would be delighted if awarded. Kangana, contesting on a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ticket from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, emphasised the party's disciplined protocols, affirming their strict adherence to Prime Minister Modi's promises.

"I would be very happy if I become 'MP Of The Year'... In our party, Modi's guarantees are taken very seriously, unlike other parties.", Ranaut told ANI on Sunday

Addressing her potential victory, Kangana disclosed plans to quit Bollywood if elected as Mandi's MP in the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. Despite rumours, she affirmed her commitment to ongoing film projects. Kangana, who submitted her nomination recently, clarified her stance in an interview with a news channel stating, "Yes... Many filmmakers tell me we have a good heroine, please don't go. I do good acting, but that's also a good compliment. I take it in my stride."

Regarding her assets, Kangana declared movable assets worth Rs 28.7 crore and immovable assets worth Rs 62.9 crore. She disclosed ownership of properties across the country, including three houses in Mumbai valued at Rs 16 crore each and a Rs 15 crore bungalow in Manali. Additionally, she owns four properties in Chandigarh, a commercial property in Mumbai, and a commercial building in Manali.
