'May Narendra Modi become CM again': Nitish Kumar's fresh slip of tongue goes viral

In a gaffe, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi to become Chief Minister once again instead of Prime Minister. He said this on May 26 during a rally in Patna in which he was seeking votes for BJP's Ravi Shankar Prasad, who is contesting from Patna Sahib constituency.

Nitish Kumar's remark quickly went viral on the internet and left social media users in splits. In his speech, Kumar said, 'It is our wish to win 400 plus seats in the country and may Narendra Modi become Chief Minister again. May the country, Bihar progress.'

Leaders who were present on the stage realised this gaffe and they swiftly reacted to it. One of them even tried to correct CM Nitish Kumar's flub.

Kumar quickly corrected himself and said that he meant Modi would become the Prime Minister and keep moving ahead.
