As per the report Wipro's senior executive had sent an email to the employees informing them of the hybrid policy on November 6. The mail said that the change is aimed at enhancing teamwork, facilitate face-to-face interaction and strengthen Wipro's culture.

"Starting November 15, all employees must be present at their assigned office location for at least three days each week. Wipro has also warned that employees would face consequences starting January 7, 2024 if they consistently fail to adhere to the new hybrid work policy. The consequences may include loss of trust and credibility with managers and leaders, reduced performance and work quality, increased stress, conflicts, and dissatisfaction within teams. Additionally, disciplinary actions may be imposed by Wipro.
