The crypto in buzz is Terra which fell to a dollar from its all-time high of $119 made on April 5, 2022. Even Terra's stable coin UST, which has to maintain a 1:1 with the U.S. Dollar, fell to as low as $0.29.
The biggest crypto Bitcoin was down over 25 percent in the last 7 days as it was trading below $30,000. Ethereum was down 56 percent from its all-time highs.
Other top cryptos like Binance coin lost 60 percent from its all-time high, Cardano (ADA) was down 85 percent, Solana tanked 80 percent, Dogecoin 88 percent, and Shiba Inu 85 percent.
With falling crypto markets we also see a crumbling wealth of crypto billionaires.
Changpeng Zhao, CEO of Binance, has lost almost 90 percent of his wealth this year. He debuted on the Bloomberg wealth index in January with a net worth of $96 billion, one of the world’s largest. By Thursday that had shrunk to $11.6 billion.
Coinbase Global Inc. founder Brian Armstrong had a personal fortune of $13.7 billion as recently as November and about $8 billion at the end of March. That’s now just $2.2 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
The global cryptocurrency market cap was down 10 percent on Thursday at $1.35 trillion, as per CoinGecko.

Against 16,20,78,067 shares on offer, 16,68,60,765 bids were received -- translating into a subscription of 1.03 times, as per data on stock exchanges as of 7 pm.
However, the Qualified Institutional Buyer (QIB) and Non-Institutional Investor (NII) portions have received a tepid response so far. Non-institutional investors' segment was subscribed 47 per cent, while QIBs' portion was slightly lower at 40 per cent.
Retail individual investors picked up nearly 93 per cent of the 6.9 crore shares set aside for this segment.
Of the total, the policyholders' portion was subscribed a little over three times, while that for employees was subscribed 2.21 times.
LIC has fixed the price band at Rs 902-949 per equity share for the issue. The offer includes a reservation for eligible employees and policyholders. The retail investors and eligible employees will get a discount of Rs 45 per equity share, while policyholders will get a discount of Rs 60 per share.
LIC public offer will remain open for subscription even on weekend to enable people to participate in the mega IPO of the state-owned insurer.
The initial public offering (IPO) will close on May 9.

IPO Update: Supply chain company Delhivery fixed a price band of Rs 462-487 a share for its Rs 5,235-crore initial public offering (IPO), which will open for subscription on May 11 and remain open till May 13. 
The size of the IPO has been cut to Rs 5,235 crore from Rs 7,460 crore planner earlier.
The public issue now comprises fresh issuance of equity shares worth Rs 4,000 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) component of Rs 1,235 crore by existing shareholders.
Under the OFS, investors Carlyle Group and SoftBank as well as Delhivery's co-founders will divest their shareholding in the logistics company.
CA Swift Investments, an entity of Carlyle Group, will sell shares to the tune of Rs 454 crore while SVF Doorbell (Cayman) Ltd, an arm of Softbank Group, will offload shares worth Rs 365 crore.
Deli CMF Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of private equity fund China Momentum Fund, L.P. will sell shares worth Rs 200 crore and Times Internet will offload shares worth Rs 165 crore.
In addition, Delhivery's co-founders -- Kapil Bharati, Mohit Tandon and Suraj Saharan-- will sell shares worth Rs 5 crore, Rs 40 crore and Rs 6 crore, respectively.
Proceeds of the fresh issue will be used towards funding organic growth initiatives, inorganic growth through acquisitions and other strategic initiatives, and for general corporate purposes.
About 75 per cent of the issue has been reserved for qualified institutional investors, 15 per cent for the non-institutional investors and the remaining 10 per cent for retail investors.
Investors can bid for a minimum of 30 equity shares and in multiples thereof.
The e-commerce logistics company operates a pan-India network and provides services in 17,045 postal index number (PIN) codes.
It provides supply chain solutions to a diverse base of 21,342 active customers such as e-commerce marketplaces, direct-to-consumer e-tailers and enterprises and SMEs across several verticals such as FMCG, consumer durables, consumer electronics, lifestyle, retail, automotive and manufacturing.
Kotak Mahindra Capital Company, BofA Securities India, Morgan Stanley India Company and Citigroup Global Markets India are the book running lead managers to the issue.
In May, Delhivery announced that it has raised $275 million (about Rs 2,000 crore) in a primary funding round, led by Fidelity Management and Research Company. With this capital raise, Delhivery's valuation was expected to rise to over $3 billion

IPO&nbsp;Update: Supply chain company Delhivery&nbsp;fixed a price band of Rs 462-487 a share for its Rs 5,235-crore initial public offering (IPO), which opened for subscription on May 11 and will remain open till May 13.
The size of the IPO has been cut to Rs 5,235 crore from Rs 7,460 crore planned earlier.

The public issue now comprises fresh issuance of equity shares worth Rs 4,000 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) component of Rs 1,235 crore by existing shareholders.
Under the OFS, investors Carlyle Group and SoftBank as well as Delhivery's co-founders will divest their shareholding in the logistics company.
CA Swift Investments, an entity of Carlyle Group, will sell shares to the tune of Rs 454 crore while SVF Doorbell (Cayman) Ltd, an arm of Softbank Group, will offload shares worth Rs 365 crore.
Deli CMF Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of private equity fund China Momentum Fund, L.P. will sell shares worth Rs 200 crore and Times Internet will offload shares worth Rs 165 crore.
In addition, Delhivery's co-founders -- Kapil Bharati, Mohit Tandon and Suraj Saharan-- will sell shares worth Rs 5 crore, Rs 40 crore and Rs 6 crore, respectively.
Proceeds of the fresh issue will be used towards funding organic growth initiatives, inorganic growth through acquisitions and other strategic initiatives, and for general corporate purposes.

About 75 percent of the issue has been reserved for qualified institutional investors, 15 percent for non-institutional investors, and the remaining 10 percent for retail investors.
Investors can bid for a minimum of 30 equity shares and in multiples thereof.
The e-commerce logistics company operates a pan-India network and provides services in 17,045 postal index number (PIN) codes.
It provides supply chain solutions to a diverse base of 21,342 active customers such as e-commerce marketplaces, direct-to-consumer e-tailers and enterprises and SMEs across several verticals such as FMCG, consumer durables, consumer electronics, lifestyle, retail, automotive and manufacturing.
Kotak Mahindra Capital Company, BofA Securities India, Morgan Stanley India Company and Citigroup Global Markets India are the book running lead managers to the issue.
In May, Delhivery announced that it has raised $275 million (about Rs 2,000 crore) in a primary funding round, led by Fidelity Management and Research Company. With this capital raise, Delhivery's valuation was expected to rise to over $3 billion

If this acquisition is pursued and successful it would mark Byju's first formal entry into mainstream schooling. Zee Learn operates 130 schools across 110 cities.

The government had fixed the issue price of LIC shares at Rs 949 apiece for allotment to investors. LIC policyholders and retail investors have got the shares at a price of Rs 889 and Rs 904 apiece, respectively, after taking into account the discount offered.
The Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) closed on May 9 and shares were allocated to bidders on May 12. The government sold over 22.13 crore shares or a 3.5 per cent stake in LIC through the IPO. The price band of the issue was Rs 902-949 a share. However, shares were allocated to investors on May 12 at the upper end of the price band.

Delisting on the cards?

Holcim in a statement said, "The corresponding offer share prices of Rs 385 for Ambuja Cement and Rs 2,300 for ACC translate into cash proceeds of CHF 6.4 billion (Swiss Franc) for Holcim." Adani has in the last couple of years diversified beyond its core business of operating ports, power plants and coal mines into airports, data centres and clean energy.
The group had last year set up two cement subsidiaries - Adani Cementation Ltd which was planning to set up two cement units at Dahej in Gujarat and Raigarh in Maharashtra; and Adani Cement Ltd.

The world's largest cement maker Holcim last month announced its exit from the country after struggling here for a long. The company through two listed entities <a href="https://www.editorji.com/business-news/ambuja-cements-acc-up-for-sale-1649909380297" target="_blank">ACC</a> and Ambuja has 66 million tonnes per annum capacity (MTPA).
Holcim was in talks with several business houses including Aditya Birla Group, which owns the leading cement players UltraTech and steel-to-energy conglomerate JSW Group.
The group, which had entered the market 17 years ago, holds a 63.19 per cent stake in Ambuja and a 4.48 per cent in ACC while Ambuja owns a 50.05 per cent stake in ACC.
ACC has 17 cement manufacturing units, 9 captive power plants and 6,643 employees along with a distribution network of 56,000 dealers &amp; retailers and a countrywide.
