The retail price of the 19 KG commercial cylinder in Delhi would be Rs 1,795, Rs 1,749 in Mumbai, Rs 1,960 in Chennai and Rs 1,911 in Kolkata

LPG Price Hike: Commercial LPG cylinder price increased by Rs 25.5; check latest prices in your city

The state-run Oil Marketing Companies have increased the price of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 25.5 which will be effective from today. This new hike now brings the retail prices to a new high.

The rise in price comes a day after government decided to increase the price of domestic natural gas. The price of domestic natural gas has been increased to $ 8.17 per million metric British thermal units (mmBtu), which was $ 7.85 per mmBtu last month.

However, in a relief, the domestic LPG prices are unchanged. Oil company majors including Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL)regularly revise cooking gas prices on the 1st of every month.

Along with commercial LPG cylinders, oil companies have also increased the prices of jet fuel. This increase has been made after four consecutive price cuts. The new increased rates of aviation fuel will also be applicable from today. Commercial LPG cylinders weigh 19 KG.

In Delhi and Kolkata, ATF prices for domestic airlines have been hiked to Rs 1,01,397/Kl and Rs 1,10,297/Kl in Delhi and Kolkata each. In Mumbai and Chennai, ATF prices for domestic airlines has been hiked to Rs 94,809/Kl and Rs 1,05,399/Kl respectively.

ATF prices for domestic airlines on international run have been revised to $921.4 in Delhi, $959.49 in Kolkata, $919.49 in Mumbai and $916.49 in Chennai
