Go First Bankruptcy: No definite timeline to resume operations, says airline

Go First has informed the Directorate General of Civil Aviations (DGCA) that they do not have a definite timeline to resume operations. The airline in its reply to the DGCA's show cause notice has not shared any detailed plans or timelines of the resumption of operations.

Earlier, it was reported that the airline is likely to resume its operations by the end of May. The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal on Monday has upheld an NCLT order that allowed the voluntary insolvency resolutions proceedings of Go First.

NCLT has appointed an interim resolution professional to look after the affairs of Go First. The tribunal has also suspended its board as part of the insolvency resolution process. Meanwhile, the suspened board on Tuesday filed a caveat in the Supreme Court against four aircraft lessors of the crisis-hit airline. The caveat was filed against the NCLAT's order.
