      G20 Summit: Gurugram office, private Institutions to Implement work-from-home

      Gurugram District Administration issued an advisory on Thursday, directing all offices to instruct their employees to work from home on September 8, in preparation for the upcoming G20 Summit hosted by Delhi on September 9-10, 2023. The advisory emphasized, 'All corporate offices and private institutions in the district are advised to guide their employees to work from home tomorrow, on 8th September 2023.'

      Additionally, Gurugram authorities have implemented traffic restrictions in the Millennium City on September 9 and 10 to facilitate the smooth operation of this mega event in the national capital. Gurugram (East) DCP (Traffic) Virender Vij announced on X (formerly known as Twitter), 'There would be traffic restrictions in Gurugram to ensure the smooth functioning of the G20 Summit. From September 7 midnight to September 10 midnight, traffic diversions will be imposed, as heavy vehicles aren't allowed in Delhi. People traveling to the airport are advised not to take the NH-48 route.'

      The traffic advisory further stated, 'Passengers should note that the NH-48 road journey towards IGI Airport Delhi will be affected from midnight 00 hours on the entry every evening of 07 and 08.09.2023 to midnight 00 hours on 10.09.2023.'
