As Ayodhya gears up for the momentous consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir on January 22, Corporate India is leaving no stone unturned to be an integral part of the historic event. Companies are on an overdrive to contribute to the grand celebrations, from enhancing connectivity to distributing sweets and lighting solutions.

Reliance Jio ensures seamless connectivity

Reliance Jio has upgraded its network in Ayodhya, increasing the number of towers for 4G and 5G networks. Additionally, the company is distributing free packaged water under its Independence brand to devotees.

Adani Wilmar’s sweet gesture

Under its Fortune brand, Adani Wilmar plans to distribute over 25,000 jalebis, Lord Ram’s favourite dessert, over seven days. The jalebis will bear the brand's logo, and there are also plans for a pakoda platter and a 'mega-blog' for 5000 people featuring the brand’s products.

Dabur India's charitable commitment

Dabur India is donating a portion of profits from product sales to Shree Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra. The company is also setting up special experience zones for visitors to explore their range of products.

ITC's fragrant contributions

Mangaldeep, ITC’s agarbatti brand, is installing a ‘Khushboo Path’ within the temple premises, adorned with five-foot-tall agarbattis. ITC will also donate dhoop for six months from the temple’s opening date.

Nova Dairy’s sacred offering

Nova Dairy is contributing 100 tonnes and 1500 kg of ghee for Prasad at the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, expressing deep honour and humility for being chosen for such a sacred event.

Havells India illuminates the temple

Havells India provides lighting solutions on the temple premises, including linear in-ground lights, spot in-ground lights, and 24-carat gold-plated spotlights around the idol of Lord Rama.

Coca Cola India's unique activations

Coca-Cola India has introduced activations in Hindi and placed 50 reverse vending machines in the city to curb pollution. The company is also enhancing store aesthetics, providing coolers, and setting up changing rooms for devotees.

Uber expands services

Uber has launched electric auto-rickshaws in Ayodhya and will soon introduce UberGo and Uber Intercity to connect the temple city with various destinations, contributing to tourism and economic growth.

Green Cell Mobility's electric buses

Green Cell Mobility is deploying 150 intra-city electric buses in Ayodhya for the consecration ceremony, catering to an estimated 2 million devotees from mid-January to the end of February.
