Tata Group-owned Air India has offered a glimpse of its revamped planes following a recent logo change. The airline confirmed that travellers can expect to see the updated A350 planes this winter.

The airline shared the first look of its A350 in the new livery, freshly painted at the Toulouse paint shop, through a social media post on X. This visual transformation comes after Tata Sons fully acquired Air India in January 2022.

The airline's new logo boasts a contemporary design featuring golden, red, and purple hues, replacing the previous logo of a red swan with orange spokes inside it.

The newly introduced logo, "The Vista," draws inspiration from the peak of a gold window frame. It symbolizes boundless possibilities, progress, and the airline's confident outlook for the future, as stated in a release by the company in August.

Air India's CEO & MD, Campbell Wilson, emphasized the significance of the transformation, stating, "Colours, patterns, shapes, and their representations matter, but our actions speak louder. We are currently undergoing a total transformation to redefine the role of India’s flagship airline."

In another strategic move, Air India announced the commissioning of a mega warehouse facility in Delhi. Spanning 54,000 sq ft and strategically located near Terminal 3 within Delhi Airport's cargo complex, the centralized warehousing facility will store over 1,000,000 engineering spares for aircraft maintenance.

This facility is expected to significantly enhance the turnaround time of flights operating out of Delhi, offering a comprehensive solution for storing aircraft spares, tools, and ground support equipment, ranging from hardware to advanced avionics, hydraulics, structural, pneumatic, and mechanical components.
