• NHAI TO MONITOR HIGHWAY PROJECTS WITH ABNORMALLY LOW BIDS
The NHAI issued a circular on Friday to deal with “abnormally low bids” (ALBs). As per the NHAI circular, ALBs would be classified separately in the data lake. So that details uploaded there can be observed by the concerned technical division’s project director and regional officer.

• KKR TO ACQUIRE GIP’S HIGHWAY BUSINESS
Global investment company KKR & Co Inc is set to acquire Global Infrastructure Partners complete portfolio in Highway Concessions One (HC1) and seven highway assets with an entire length of 478 km. This is KKR’s first investment in the transport sector in Asia.

• HOUSING AGENCY CREATES APP TO MONITOR HOME CONSTRUCTION IN BENGALURU
Nodal housing agency, Rajiv Gandhi Housing Corporation Ltd (RGHCL) has developed a simple mobile technology – geotagging to monitor construction activities of 10 lakh houses in Bengaluru.

• JK CEMENT TARGETS 10% REVENUE GROWTH IN FY22
As informed by top company official, JK Cement Ltd, part of J.K. Organisation, aims a 10% increase in its revenue this fiscal, supported by the government’s push for infrastructure, a good monsoon and pent-up demand for the sector.

• PROPERTY REGISTRATIONS IN INDORE RECORDED A 60% JUMP IN JUNE
This year in June, a total of 11,500 properties in Indore were registered, generating an income of Rs 166 crore, as per the data from the registrar’s office. Last year in the same period, an income of Rs 104 crore was generated with 6,771 property registrations.
