Mumbai Indians are through to the final of the Women’s Premier League after defeating the UP Warriorz by 72 runs.

English all-rounder Nat Sciver-Brunt proved to be the match-winner for Harmanpreet Kaur’s side to set up a summit clash with the Delhi Capitals.

While others around her made small but vital contributions, it was Sciver-Brunt’s unbeaten 72 off 38 balls that blew the Warriorz away at the DY Patil stadium. Her sensational knock powered Mumbai to a mighty 182/4.

And in reply, the Warriorz could never get going, losing 4 wickets including the big-hitting Healy, McGrath & Harris inside the first 8 overs.

While Kiran Navgire did play a valiant hand with a 43, it was Issy Wong’s fantastic hat-trick that completely derailed the run-chase, with the Warriorz getting bundled for 110 in the end.
