The BCCI will reward the Indian women's cricket team with Rs 51 crore for winning the ODI World Cup, secretary Devajit Saikia announced on Monday.
The Indian women's team under Harmanpreet Kaur's leadership beat South Africa by 52 runs in the final on Sunday to win its first ever global trophy.
"As a token of appreciation, the BCCI will reward the Indian women's cricket team with a cash award of Rs 51 crore for winning the World Cup. It includes all the players, support staff and the national selection committee," Saikia told PTI on Monday.

At the stroke of midnight, Harmanpreet Kaur created her own legacy, broke a "barrier" with a bunch of sprightly women filled with guts and announced that this is not the end but just the beginning.
The Indian women's cricket team won its first-ever World Cup with a 52-run victory over South Africa in the summit clash here on Sunday to script a golden chapter in the country's pantheon of sporting achievements.
Having taken the World Cup-winning epochal catch Sunday night, the mercurial Indian women's team skipper displayed an entire gamut of emotions never seen before. She ran like crazy as if there was no tomorrow after taking the catch. Stood a bit detached as the youngsters celebrated, trying to soak in the moment. Touched "Guruji" Amol Muzumdar's feet and engaged in an emotional hug where the tears burst out of the welled up eyes.
Called the two OGs of Indian women's cricket -- Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami -- to hold the Cup. Both the legends broke down. It was a moment to frame when the skipper and her deputy Smriti Mandhana engaged in a bear hug with Jhulan, telling her "Didi, Yeh Aapke liye thaa (Sister, this is for you)".
And when Harmanpreet spoke at the post-match presentation ceremony, she didn't lose the macro picture of what it means to be the first women's team to achieve the unthinkable.
"This is the start. We wanted to break this barrier. And our next plan is to make this a habit. We were waiting for it, now this moment has come. So many big occasions are coming, and we want to keep improving. This is not the end, just the beginning," the skipper said.
Captaincy is a lot about planning but just like it was Kapil Dev on June 25, 1983, whose gut feel told him to give one more over to Madan Lal against a rampaging Vivian Richards. Harmanpreet felt that on Sunday, and her trump card was Shafali Verma, who possibly couldn't have done any wrong.
"When Laura and Sune were batting, they were looking really good. I just saw Shafali standing there, and the way she was batting, I knew it was our day.
"I thought I have to go with my gut feeling. My heart was saying, I had to give her at least one over. And that was the turning point for us. In the end, they panicked a little and that is where we cashed (in). At the right time, Deepti came in and took those wickets."
Shafali had bowled 14 overs in her entire international ODI career and on the day got two crucial wickets.
"When she came to the team, we spoke to her that we might need 2-3 overs, and she said if you give me bowling, I will bowl ten overs. Credit goes to her, she was so positive and she was there for the team. Salute her."
It was Amol, who would always be on his skipper's ears about doing something big and something special.
"Amol sir was with the team and he was always telling us to come up with something special, and to keep preparing for the big occasion. We should give credit to the support staff and the BCCI. We did not make too many changes (to our squad), and they really invested in us, and because of everyone, we are standing here."
For Shafali, who in the past one year saw her international career come to a standstill, must have felt that it had to be God's decree.
"I said at the start, that God has sent me here to do something nice, and that reflected today. Very happy that we won and I cannot express it in words."
Coming for two knock-out games isn't easy but Shafali had belief in her abilities.
"It was difficult but I had confidence in myself - that if I can stay calm, I could achieve everything. My parents, my friends, my brother, everyone supported me and helped me understand how to play. It was very important for my team and myself, and I just wanted to make my team win. My mind was clear and I worked on my plans. So happy that I could execute and Smriti di and Harman di, everyone was supporting me. They (seniors) asked me just to play my own game, and when you get that clarity, that is all you need. It is a very memorable moment."
With Sachin Tendulkar in the stands, it couldn't have been more special for Shafali to do it in front of her idol.
"When I saw Sachin sir, it gave me an incredible boost. I keep talking to him, he keeps giving me confidence. He is the master of cricket, and we keep getting inspired just looking at him."

Indian women's cricket finally touched its Everest as years of toil and near-misses culminated in an evening of redemption and history for the hosts. India's breakthrough in the 13th edition of the global showpiece made them only the fourth team to win the trophy, joining Australia (7), England (4) and New Zealand (1) in the pantheon of champions.&nbsp;
With the victory, Harmanpreet&rsquo;s team finally buried the ghosts of past heartbreaks &mdash; the 2005 and 2017 finals &mdash; and delivered India&rsquo;s much-awaited World title, a watershed moment for the game in the country. Confined to domestic cricket with Haryana weeks ago, the 21-year-old dynamo returned to the world stage with an innings of audacity and maturity &mdash; 87 off 84 balls &mdash; before taking two crucial wickets to tilt the game decisively India&rsquo;s way.
Her re-entry into the XI proved a masterstroke as she and Smriti Mandhana (45) gave India the perfect launchpad with a 104-run opening stand, forcing South Africa&rsquo;s bowlers into disarray after a two-hour rain delay. She fittingly applied the finishing touch, dismissing Nadine de Klerk for her fifth wicket to spark celebrations of a lifetime.

A diminutive Jemimah Rodrigues stood tall on the biggest stage with the innings of her life as her unbeaten 127 off 134 balls sent India into their third Women's ODI World Cup final, halting the juggernaut of seven-time champions Australia with a record chase in Navi Mumbai on Thursday.
Jemimah&rsquo;s arduous knock for only her third century and first in a World Cup was built along with a robust 167-run stand for the third wicket with skipper Harmanpreet Kaur (89 from 88 balls, 10x4s, 2x6s), which helped India to end the reigning champions Australia's 15-match unbeaten run in the competition across two editions.
Chasing a mammoth 339, Jemimah anchored the spirited response with an incredible 127 not out from 134 balls including 14 fours, as India scored 341/5 in 48.3 overs to win with five wickets and nine balls to spare. It was the highest ever chase in Women's ODIs.
Having lost knock-out games from winning positions several times in the past, India finally found a way to get over the line on this occasion. No wonder tears of sheer joy rolled down the eyes of skipper Harmanpreet Kaur and Rodrigues who did have all those heartbreaks at the back of their mind during the run chase.
A first time winner of the tournament is assured with India meeting South Africa at the same venue on Sunday.
In the middle as early as in the second over, Jemimah built her innings with utmost resolve of keeping it simple, finding boundaries regularly and not taking any risks.
Towards the end, an exhausted Jemimah kept slumping on her haunches to preserve whatever little energy she was left with, and thrived on cheers of a packed house here at the DY Patil Stadium to take the hosts one step closer to that elusive title.
Skipper Harmanpreet would have never imagined walking out to bat in front of a shellshocked home crowd which was reeling in silence when the team&rsquo;s best batter Smriti Mandhana fell in the 10th over.
At 59 for two inside the powerplay with their best batter (Mandhana) back in the hut, that was that moment where this team had botched up from winning positions not too long ago.
But eventually, they did not. Harmanpreet (89 off 88) and Jemimah batted with purpose and at no stage of their third-wicket association did they look under stress with the asking rate.
A lightening quick outfield aided to their benefit and once well-settled, Harmanpreet launched one over cover off McGrath and another off Gardner. The dew also arrived late in the evening, making batting easier.
A pivotal moment arrived in the 33rd over when Jemimah was gifted a lifeline by the Australian captain Alyssa Healy when she was on 82, spilling a sitter when the batter got a leading edge off King while trying to sweep. Later on, she was given another lifeline on 106.
Shafali&rsquo;s first ODI outing after a year&rsquo;s gap lasted only five balls in which she managed two boundaries before being pinned off a nip-backer from Kim Garth in front of the wickets.
Australia did well to keep India&rsquo;s best batter Smriti Mandhana (24) on a tight leash at the start but the vice-captain replied with a six down the ground and two fours.
However, it was a dismaying end to her innings when Mandhana was caught behind on a delivery sprayed down the leg from Garth, with a faint spike on DRS appeal confirming Australia&rsquo;s conviction.
Earlier, Phoebe Litchfield&rsquo;s scintillating 119 and half-centuries from venerable Ellyse Perry (77) and Ashleigh Gardner (63) helped Australia set a 339-run target against India who were sloppy in the field.
If not for a tidy third spell of 3-0-9-2 in which Shree Charani (2/49) dismissed Beth Mooney (24) and an in-form Annabel Sutherland (3), Australia might have finished with far more than they managed.
Australia were bowled out for 338 with one ball left in their innings.
Litchfield&rsquo;s third ODI ton which came off a mere 77 balls, set the platform for Australia to launch themselves to a huge total.
The 22-year-old came into this knockout game with only a fifty in her account so far in the competition, but batted as if she was always in a purple patch.
Litchfield's high quality knock included 17 fours and three sixes. Her lofted hits over the infield in the cover region were as spectacular as the two sixes she hit down the ground, one of which was hit on the second ball of the 27th over off Deepti Sharma.
Litchfield put on 155 for the second wicket before missing a lap shot off Amanjot with Perry, who made a valuable 77 off 88 balls (6x4s, 2x6s).

Kaur's 115-ball 171 not out at Derby, England, in the 2017 semifinal against Australia was a seminal moment that catapulted women's cricket from the footnote to the headlines. A victory over the seven-time world champions would not only ignite India's campaign but also fuel belief that an elusive ICC crown is within reach. For a team that has flirted with inconsistency, Thursday's game offers India a chance to defeat one of sport's most dominant sides.
India's campaign has been as taxing as it can be for a World Cup host, especially when the team had its back pressed firmly against the wall following three consecutive defeats, from which they fought back to find a place in the semifinals. But then they lost a key batter in Pratika Rawal to injury. There is no room for error now as India are left in the ring with each of those opponents who had outmatched them in league meetings.
Before taking the field, India will face some pertinent questions regarding their team combination. The inclusion of big-hitting Shafali Verma, who was neither in India's plans nor among the six reserve players, adds more fuel to the fire. Her record with vice-captain Smriti Mandhana &mdash; 893 runs in 25 innings at 37.20 &mdash; looks inferior to Rawal and Mandhana's 1,799 runs in 23 innings at 78.21 as an opening pair.
India must decide whether to pick Shafali, whose aggressive style could put pressure on the opponents and match Mandhana&rsquo;s rich form, or promote Harleen Deol in the opening slot to accommodate a sixth bowler. Harleen's 169 runs without a fifty in seven matches at 75.11 may not promise fireworks but her ability to stick to the crease provides solidity at the top and gives Mandhana a familiar cushion, similar to Rawal's role.
Despite forecasts of unseasonal rains, the pitch remains a batting haven and scoreboard pressure may not work as effectively on the chasing side. Additionally, India must decide whether to stick with left-arm spinner Radha Yadav, who was brilliant on the field and accurate in her bowling against Bangladesh, particularly when compared to Sneh Rana, who has given away 201 runs in the last three matches for one wicket.

When challenged, as against Pakistan or England, Australia has staged fightbacks reflecting deep resolve and talent in the dressing room. When not challenged, as against South Africa in Indore, Australia has not only fired the first shots but crushed the opponent completely.
On Tuesday, Alyssa Healy went through drills to prove her fitness after missing matches against England and South Africa, while Beth Mooney also trained, including wicketkeeping practice. Healy looks on track to make her comeback in the semifinal, as Australia wants their regular captain back in the middle. She has struck centuries in each of her last two outings against Bangladesh and India.
Phoebe Litchfield, unbeaten 84 against Bangladesh, has been in ordinary form but, as an exponent of the reverse-sweep shot, will look forward to the outing against India. Tahlia McGrath, who stood in for Healy in the last two matches, has only 43 runs from six outings. But in Ashleigh Gardner (265 runs including two tons, seven wickets), Annabel Sutherland (114 runs and 15 wickets), and Alana King (13 wickets and 55 runs), Australia has depth until No. 11 to stage comebacks that can influence outcomes.

A double series win in England may have boosted the confidence of the Indian women&rsquo;s team ahead of a home World Cup but skipper Harmanpreet Kaur said her side will need to "start from ball one" when they return home to prepare for the global showpiece.
Harmanpreet led from the front with her seventh women&rsquo;s ODI century as India defeated England by 13 runs in a high-scoring decider here on Tuesday to clinch the three-match series 2-1, following their 3-2 triumph in the WT20Is earlier.
India next faces seven-time reigning world champions Australia in a three-match WODI series at home beginning September 14, before co-hosting the Women&rsquo;s World Cup with Sri Lanka from September 30 to November 2.
"Well, every game and every situation is different. Today was a totally different situation and different pitch, different atmosphere. But in home, conditions will be different," Harmanpreet, who was adjudged both player of the match and player of the series, said at the post-match press conference here on Tuesday.
"But yeah, whenever you win, those things can always give you a positive mindset and keep you in a good place.
"But whenever you are playing the next game, it's always you have to start from ball one and I think this series will definitely give us a lot of confidence. But again, when we go back, we have to start again things from the ball one." Asked what pleased her most from the England tour and what areas the team still needs to improve ahead of the World Cup, Harmanpreet replied: "Well, if you see our team is really working hard for so many years and this is the time where we are getting that reward.
"I am really happy all the girls are coming up and coming up with positive mindset and working really hard on their fitness.
"Right now, the kind of fitness you need in international cricket. We have understood a lot of things in the past few years and right now, just trying to pass that benchmark and setting ourselves in that position where people can talk about women's cricket, people can take women's cricket really seriously back home." Asked whether India and Australia now stand a step above the rest in women&rsquo;s cricket, Harmanpreet preferred to focus on overall growth.
"Well, nowadays women's cricket is improving day by day. All the teams, if you see, they are batting really well. They are improving in bowling also. So I think every team is improving day by day and now it's only about who is going to play best cricket on that particular day.
Harmanpreet&rsquo;s century was her seventh in ODIs, and also her first score above fifty in the format in 13 innings. Before this, her best in the two white-ball series in England was 26 in the fourth T20I.
Reflecting on ending her lean run with the bat, she said: "Well, obviously in all the matches, I wanted to give my best in batting also. But today's game was very important for us.
"The plan was to spend some time on the wicket and then see how things will go. And I think that thing really worked for me. In the first 11 balls, I didn't get any runs.
"But then I was just talking to myself, I'm not going to lose myself. Just be there for the team and I think those things really helped me." Reaching the 4,000-run milestone in WODIs added another highlight to her day.
"Yeah, it's always a great moment, adding those runs for your country. It means a lot to me and I wish to continue more for the country." The skipper was also full of praise for young seamer Kranti Goud, who grabbed 6/52 to restrict England to 305 and became the second-youngest Indian woman after Deepti Sharma to take a five-wicket haul in ODIs. She gifted her player of the match award to the young seamer.
"She's been really impressive whenever she was on the field and bowling for the team. Today was also, we went with four spinners but we knew that Kranti is someone who can always give us a breakthrough in the initial moment.
"And later on also, she's someone who can bowl really well for the team and really happy with the kind of bowling she did today. And whenever we needed a breakthrough, she was there for the team."

India on Tuesday named a tried and tested squad for the Women's T20 World Cup under the leadership of Harmanpreet Kaur, hoping the experienced bunch takes the team to an elusive ICC trophy.
Barring Uma Chetry, all the squad members who were part of an unsuccessful Asia Cup campaign in July have been retained for the marquee event beginning in the UAE on October 3.
The competition was shifted to the UAE from Bangladesh following unrest in the South Asian nation owing to a student protest.
Spin all-rounder Shreyanka Patil and top-order batter Yastika Bhatia have been included in the squad subject to fitness. Shreyanka fractured her finger during the Asia Cup game against Pakistan while Bhatia is recovering from a knee injury.
Following the loss to Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup final, Kaur will be under pressure to lead her team to the coveted title. The men were finally to able get the monkey off their back and win an ICC title after an 11 year gap back in June.
The women, who too have all the resources at their disposal, would be expected to cross the finishing line on this occasion.
Kaur first captained the team in the 2018 edition and since then India has reached one final but it has largely been a story of missed opportunities.
Their biggest challenge will be to beat Australia as usual. Both teams are in the same group which also includes Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
On expected lines, the squad is loaded with spinners including Deepti Sharma, Asha Sobhana and Radha Yadav. The two specialist pacers are Renuka Singh and Arundhati Reddy while Pooja Vastrakar is the sole fast bowling all-rounder. Titas Sadhu is a notable name missing in the pace department.
"Given the players we have it's a good squad. Hope Yastika and Sheyanka get fit," former India captain Diana Edulji told PTI.
Star batter Smriti Mandhana has been named Kaur's deputy and like always will be the key at the top of the order.
Besides the thin fast bowling resources, India is also not a side full of power-hitters. Kaur and Richa Ghosh will be responsible for producing the big hits in the middle overs phase of the game.
India will open their campaign against New Zealand on October 4.

India have been drawn alongside six-time champions Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka in Group A for the ninth edition of the tournament, while Group B comprises South Africa, England, and 2016 champions West Indies, Bangladesh and Scotland.
Asked to predict the semifinalists, Harmanpreet, who recently led India to a 5-0 whitewash of Bangladesh in the T20I series in Sylhet, said, "India, Australia, England and South Africa. Because all these teams have been doing really well and hopefully these four can qualify for the semis so we can have very good cricket over there.
"I think it will be Australia (who I look forward to facing) because they are very competitive," Harmanpreet told ICC during a fixture launch event.
Though Harmanpreet's side has challenged Australian dominance of late, the rivals have come up trumps in global events, winning the Women's T20 World Cup final in 2020 as well as the Commonwealth Games final in 2022. Australia also defeated India in the 2023 T20 World Cup semifinal.
"If we do well against them, it will give us a lot of confidence and I'm really looking forward to playing against them," she added.
Harmanpreet also felt India's success in the recently-concluded 5-match series against the hosts had made them more familiar with the conditions.
"Yeah, it's a bit similar to India and hopefully, in these conditions, we should do well." India and Bangladesh have been involved in some intense rivalry of late and it was very much on show during the recently-concluded series. India has travelled to Bangladesh twice since the 2023 T20 World Cup -- in July last year for a three-match T20I series and an ODI series as well as the recent 5-match T20I series.
"Bangladesh will be the home team and they will know the conditions better than us. Obviously, the crowd will be supporting them. But playing against them is always an exciting event. And hopefully, we will do well against them," said Harmanpreet.
On India's so-near-yet-so-far experience in World Cups, Harmanpreet said, "I think in all the ICC events we have done well. The only thing is that we have lost a lot of close games. And this time hopefully all those close games if we can win and do well for the team."

Yastika and her opening partner Hayley Matthews (18) added 50 runs in 6.3 overs as MI made a strong start to their chase.
But Mumbai lost Nat-Sciver Brunt and Bhatia before they even reached 100 inside 13.3 overs.
When the match entered the last five-over phase, MI needed 72 runs off 30 balls to win at more than 14 runs per over.
Tough task, you would imagine. But Harmanpreet, who was dropped on 40 by Phoebe Litchfield off Sneh Rana near the ropes, turned on the beast mode from that point and took it upon herself to take her team past the tape.
She went on a boundary-hitting spree and added 93 runs for the fourth wicket in just 38 balls with Amelia Kerr, who made just 12 in that partnership.

Mooney (66, 35b, 8x4, 3x6) and Hemalatha (74, 40b, 9x4, 2x6) added 121 runs for an electrifying second-wicket alliance in a little over 11 overs after the Gujarat side elected to bat first.
Their power walk started after the early departure of opener Laura Wolvaardt (13), who was cleaned up by Matthews.
Both Mooney, who struck his second fifty in a row, and Hemalatha slipped into overdrive straightaway.
While Hemalatha was severe on MI spinners, the veteran Mooney focused on the opposition pacers.
A straight six of pacer Brunt and back-to-back fours off Shabnim Ismail, who recently breached the 130 kmph-barrier, helped Mooney to chug along at a scoring rate of over 200.
The introduction pacer Pooja Vastrakar prompted Mooney to take her batting to another level as two scoops behind wicketkeeper gave her as many maximums.

But the dismissal of Mooney in the 14th over, right after the Strategic Time Out, applied breaks on Gujarat's scoring.
The attempt to pull off-spinner Sajana Sajeevan made her hear the deathly clatter of stumps.
Hemalatha soon fell to Ismail as the Gujarat side lost four wickets while adding 28 runs.

"We just kept our preparations very simple. We are trying not to expect too much from ourselves and doing too many things. That was our approach last year too and we want to continue that. We are feeling very confident going into this match and tournament," said Harmanpreet in her pre-match press meet.
One reason for that, Harmanpreet felt, was the Mumbai Indians' extensive pre-tournament camp held in their home turf.
"We used the facilities in Mumbai ahead of the WPL. We played a few practice games as well, so that we could try some new combinations and the players too get a chance to work upon their game.
"We feel that we are ready for the game. Last year, we had to do extra team-bonding sessions and this time we got some more time on the field training," she said. "In that sense, we also got a chance to look at the new girls who have joined this year and we have got a good team balance and we are very confident." Amanjot Kaur is one of the new recruits of the Mumbai side this year, and Harmanpreet hoped that the left-arm wrist spinner can boost her side's bowling unit.
"I have not seen any other woman cricketer who bowls left-arm wrist spin. She is a good pick for us. You need variety in T20 cricket and sometimes the batters get used to your regular bowlers.
"She is someone who has played more than 30 domestic games this year and played well in them too. She looked confident in our practice games too," she said.
Mumbai have also signed veteran pacer Shabnim Ismail from the player auction last year, and Harmanpreet said the South African will complement young pace-bowling all-rounder Issy Wong this season.
"She is a great player and she has done well for her country and whichever leagues that she plays for. She brings in a lot of experience and she is someone who can bowl with good pace and that's what we have been looking for.
"Last year, Issy Wong gave us a lot of balance, and now this year we have another option in Shabnim. Her presence gives us that extra cushioning in bowling," she noted.

Without hiding her desire to see more Tests being played in women's cricket space, captain Harmanpreet Kaur on Wednesday admitted that India will have to play a lead role to make it a reality through consistent performances.
After a gap of nearly nine years, India will be playing a Test at home when they take on England in a one-off match here at the DY Patil Stadium.
India's last Test at home took place in November 2014 against South Africa at Mysore.
&ldquo;Talking about women's cricket, it is improving day-by-day In India. A lot of people are coming to watch the match which we saw in the last T20Is,&rdquo; Kaur told the media on the eve of the match.
&ldquo;Everyone in the world...they want to play in India. In India, things are changing quickly when it comes to cricket. A lot of people are extending their love and we are also trying to improve. We have an opportunity to take women&rsquo;s cricket as high as we can.
&ldquo;I know that a lot hinges on the Indian cricket team when it comes to women's cricket. The way the approach is changing in India concerning women&rsquo;s cricket, obviously, we have a lot in our hands,&rdquo; Kaur added.

&ldquo;As players we want to play more and more Test games. It is ICC and (the) board's call to take up,&rdquo; she said.
Kaur said she was feeling better after twisting her foot in the third T20I against England.
&ldquo;There was a little bit of soreness but I am feeling better now,&rdquo; Kaur said.
Kaur said the switch between white and the red ball formats, given there was only a three-day break between the T20Is and the Test, would be challenging for the players.
&ldquo;I know, after (playing) white ball cricket it will be a little challenging. The bowling unit got 10-15 days to prepare. They understood how the red ball behaves. As batting and bowling units we have tried to cover up as much as we could,&rdquo; she said.
Kaur said changing the mindset quickly would be beneficial.
&ldquo;We want to play positive cricket and that is something that we have discussed in the team meeting as well. It is all about (the) mind game.
We cannot keep thinking that we played a Test match two years ago and some girls are new in the side. The only change is that the (colour of) the ball has changed but the approach will be the same,&rdquo; she said.
"The field placements and bowling can be attacking and we have discussed about winning the sessions too. Hopefully, whatever we have prepared in the last two days, we will be able to execute it in the middle,&rdquo; she said.
Kaur admitted to feeling &lsquo;butterflies in the stomach&rsquo; as this will be the first time she would be leading the country in Tests.
&ldquo;Butterflies are always there, no matter how much you have played. There is always excitement and nervousness when you go to the ground. When you play one ball, you get totally involved in the game,&rdquo; she said.
&ldquo;(The) last Test I missed because of injury and this time there is an opportunity to lead the team. The talk has been about being positive and playing with excitement,&rdquo; Kaur added.
With domestic stalwart Amol Muzumdar in charge as head coach, Kaur said his message to the players has been simple &mdash; stick with their respective games.
&ldquo;The best thing he said was, go with your best batting style and don&rsquo;t think about changing it because it is red-ball cricket,&rdquo; she said.
&ldquo;If you are an aggressive batter, play aggressively. If you like to build your innings, then do that. You need not think about too many things,&rdquo; she added.&nbsp;

In the first incident, Kaur expressed frustration after her dismissal by hitting the wickets with her bat, leading to a Level 2 offence and a fine of 50 percent of her match fee along with three demerit points.
The second breach, where she publicly criticised the umpires during the presentation ceremony, resulted in a Level 1 offence with a 25 percent match fee fine and one demerit point.
Since Kaur admitted to the offences and agreed to the punishment, there was no need for a formal hearing.&nbsp;

Harmanpreet Kaur's behaviour after the drawn ODI series vs Bangladesh received a lot of flak from former cricketers and Diana Edulji is the latest to criticise the Indian women's cricket team captain.
In her column for the Indian Express, the former India cricketer and BCCI administrator Diana, wrote that she was disturbed by the visuals from India vs Bangladesh ODI.
'I have been watching cricket for a long time but have never seen anyone behave the way India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur did after the game. What happened in Bangladesh was uncalled for,' she added.

I say that because juniors look up to seniors and this, over a period of time, can impact the team culture. This makes Harmanpreet&rsquo;s behaviour all the more unacceptable,' Diana further stated.

The charges against Harmanpreet Kaur for her comments on match officials has been pressed by ICC international panel match referee Akter Ahmed, who is also from Bangladesh.

&nbsp;Indian women's team captain Harmanpreet Kaur could well miss first two games in the upcoming Hangzhou Asian Games on charges of equipment abuse and public criticism of match officials after the tied third ODI against Bangladesh on July 22.
Harmanpreet was adjudged leg before off a Nahida Akter delivery while trying to sweep but she claimed that she got a bottom edge and in a fit of rage shattered the stumps before walking back to the pavilion.
Later at the post match presentation ceremony, she termed the level of umpiring as "pathetic" and also sarcastically asked the umpires to be called to join the teams for trophy ceremony.
Her boorish behaviour had prompted Bangladesh skipper Nigar Sultana to walk away with her team and urge her Indian counterpart to learn some "manners".
"There is still some deliberation going on whether she should get three demerit points or four as there are two charges -- match equipment abuse and criticism of match officials.
"In case there are four demerit points in a space of 24 months, you either miss a Test or two limited over games -- in this case first two games of Asiad. In case, it is three, then she will only cop financial penalty," a senior BCCI source told PTI on conditions of anonymity.
