For 15 yrs, US man impersonated a law enforcement officer. Here's how he finally got caught

A perplexing case of a US man impersonating as a law enforcement officer for years has come to light.

The man, identified as Antione William Tuckson, hails from Maryland and has been arrested after over 15 years of his impersonation spree.

Tuckson was posing as a US marshal at the time of his arrest. So what led to his cover blow up? It all happened because of a silly mistake.

Tuckson, who was working at a local restaurant as its security official tried to detain two women over a bill dispute.

When the women left the restaurant, Tuckson pursued them and called for backup from Prince George’s County police.

The police officers grew suspicious when they realized he had left his dog, purported to be a police dog, at the restaurant, which seemed unusual.

Tuckson was in possession of fake props and a firearm. He even reportedly owned multiple vehicles with red and blue flashing lights.

The entire matter was unearthed and Tuckson's impersonation spree came to light.

Notably, Tuckson has served time for several felony convictions before.

Tuckson faces up to 17 years in prison if he is convicted.
