Ukraine launches 'revolutionary app' for citizens to trace Russian drones

In a bid to target Russian drones, Ukraine has reportedly launched an app that will help its air troops track aerial targets easily.

Ukraine's Strategic Communications Department said it has developed a mobile application named "ePPO" to aid its air defense troops with additional radar data of an aerial target.

In a statement, the Ukraine government urged its people to 'join the anti-missile and anti-aircraft defense' saying that the revolutionary app was available to download.

Ukraine said the app will augment Ukrainians' support for its army that has been battling the Moscow forces since February this year.

By October 17, Kyiv claimed to have shot down at least 37 Iranian Shahed missiles, 136 drones and 3 cruise missiles.

The development has come amid an ongoing exchange of bombardments between the two countries, which escalated further after Crimea bridge explosion.
