‘Literally Anybody Else’ joins US Presidential race to counter Biden, Trump

A Texas man legally changed his name to ‘Literally Anybody Else’ as he announced his presidential bid as an independent candidate saying voters in the US want “literally anybody else” but Joe Biden or Donald Trump.

The man, formerly known as Dustin Ebey, says his new name is a "rally cry" against the two presidential candidates.

The 35-year-old is a math teacher and a US Army veteran from North Richland Hills, a suburb in Dallas.

Having a Texas driving license under the name ‘Literally Anybody Else’, the candidate's website says, "For too long have Americans been a victim of its political parties putting party loyalty over governance. Together let's send the message to Washington and say, 'You will represent or be replaced'. America should not be stuck choosing between the 'King of Debt' and an 81-year-old."

"Literally Anybody Else isn’t a person, it’s a rally cry. Join the movement in any way... Let this campaign be a beacon of hope and innovation," the website further adds.

The reason he changed his name, reportedly, was because he was unsatisfied with the two presidential candidates. He also said that "three hundred million people can do better".

The man also shared a post on X in November 2023 saying, "Time for a revolution! Meet 'Literally Anybody Else' - the antidote to the political establishment. A leader untainted by politics, who empathizes with YOUR dreams and struggles. Let's prioritize practical solutions and a future that works for ALL."
