Could NASA’s plan to beam Earth’s location trigger an alien invasion?

The binary-coded message will contain information about the solar system, Earth’s surface and humanity to the part of the Milky way scientists feel may most likely be home to extra-terrestrial life

NASA plans to beam Earth’s location into outer space. Oxford scientists have warned that the move could lead to an inadvertent alien invasion.

The binary-coded message will contain information about the solar system, Earth’s surface and humanity to the part of the Milky way scientists feel may most likely be home to extra-terrestrial life.
The message is an updated version of Arecibo message, sent into outer space in 1974 with help of a radio telescope.
