Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has been officially cast in Sajid Nadiadwala&rsquo;s highly anticipated action thriller Baaghi 4, adding a fierce new dimension to the popular franchise.
The first-look poster of Dutt&rsquo;s character was revealed on Monday, showcasing him in a gripping, intense avatar. Sitting on a throne, blood-soaked and holding a lifeless woman, Dutt exudes a mix of anger and sorrow. The tagline, "Every Aashiq Is A Villain," hints at him playing a villain driven by the loss of a loved one, further amplifying the emotional depth of his character. Dutt&rsquo;s rugged and powerful presence promises to add a new level of intensity to the series.
Directed by A. Harsha, a renowned filmmaker in Kannada cinema, Baaghi 4 will be the fourth installment in the action-packed franchise, which has already become synonymous with Tiger Shroff&rsquo;s high-octane performances. Earlier in November, the makers unveiled a poster of Tiger Shroff&rsquo;s character in a darker, grittier look, hinting at an intense, action-driven narrative.
Alongside Baaghi 4, Dutt and Nadiadwala are also working together on Housefull 5, which is currently in production and will feature an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, and several other Bollywood stars.
Baaghi 4, presented by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, is scheduled to release on September 5, 2025.

Ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, rumours emerged that Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt might fight the election. On April 8, the Munnabhai MBBS star took to X to clear the air.
Dutt said that he is not joining any party or contesting elections. He said that if he decided to step into the political arena, he will be the the first one to announce it.
He urged people to refrain from believing the rumours being circulated.
"I would like to put all rumours about me joining politics to rest. I am not joining any party or contesting elections. If I do decide to step into the political arena then I will be the first one to announce it. &nbsp;Please refrain from believing what is being circulated in the news about me as of now," wrote Sanjay Dutt on X.

Following the ceremony on January 11, Sanjay Dutt met with his fans who had gathered outside the temple. He also briefly engaged with the media and expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming Ayodhya temple dedicated to Lord Ram. He expressed his desire to visit the temple and offer his prayers there in the future.
&lsquo;Bahut achchi baat hai, bahut achchi baat hai (it's great),&rsquo; said the actor when he was asked about the Ram temple, which will be consecrated on January 22.
Shortly afterward, the actor enthusiastically started chanting &lsquo;Jai Bhole&rsquo; and &lsquo;Jai Shri Ram,&rsquo; eliciting cheers of joy from his fans who were observing from a distance.
Previously, at the airport, the journalists also asked him whether he would like to visit Ayodhya. He told them, &lsquo;Definitely. Why not?&rsquo;

Pind daan is a Hindu ritual performed by relatives of the deceased to honor their memory. It involves visiting three sacred sites in Gaya: the Phalgu River, Vishnupad Temple, and Akshay Vat tree. This ritual typically takes approximately two hours and can be completed in a single day.

Now, a Hindustan Times report states that the trio had come together for an ad shoot, and not their much-awaited sequel.

Many industry insiders feel that &lsquo;Munna Bhai 3&rsquo; may never happen. Another source told Hindustan Times, &lsquo;There are very less chances of the third film happening now because of the fallout between Rajkummar Hirani and (producer) Vidhu Vinod Chopra. It has been several years since they parted ways following the #MeToo allegations against Hirani. In fact, there was a film with a working title Munna Bhai Chale America, but that was soon shelved without any reason. The script was finalised and the pre-production had also started, but it could not happen.&rsquo;
Sources also share that the studios also got involved in the matter following the allegations and had pulled out their support.
A source from Star World had shared that &lsquo;it was decided that Fox Studios would pull the plug on Munna Bhai 3 if Hirani was found guilty. The studio stands in solidarity with the survivor.'

Filmmaker Apoorva Lakhia, who has worked with Sanjay Dutt in films like &lsquo;Shootout at Lokhandwala&rsquo; and &lsquo;Zanjeer&rsquo;, talked about his equation with the actor in a recent interview. He recalled how Sanjay Dutt recorded lines for &lsquo;Zanjeer&rsquo; remake at home before serving his sentence for illegal possession of arms related to the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case. In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Apoorva shared, &lsquo;Sanju sir is amazing. He was going to jail the next day, and he hadn&rsquo;t completed the dubbing for Zanjeer. He was going to be picked up by the cops at 1:30 the next day, and he called me and said, &lsquo;Bro, I&rsquo;m really sorry I haven&rsquo;t done your dubbing. Come to my house tonight and do my dubbing&rsquo;.&rsquo; Apoorva said he visited Sanjay Dutt&rsquo;s house with his technician and the actor had cleared out the entire bar area to make room. &lsquo;I took my technician. Actor Sanjay Dutt has posted a story update on his instagram id assuring that he is compeletely fine. The actor did so after the news of him meeting with an accident on the set of his upcoming film KD surfaced.
Speaking of Sanjay Dutt, he portrays the villain in KD-The Devil. It's interesting to note that Shilpa Shetty is also making a return to Sandalwood with this movie, in which she plays Satyavati.

Seven Screen Studio announced the news on Twitter on Thursday. The Vijay starrer is tentatively titled '<a href="https://www.editorji.com/entertainment-news/bollywood/sanjay-dutt-comes-onboard-thalapathy-67-says-he-gave-his-nod-after-hearing-the-one-line-story-1675182650992">Thalapathy 67</a>'. The original title will be unveiled on February 3.
'Thalapathy 67' marks the second collaboration between Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj after their 2021 blockbuster 'Master'. Trisha Krishnan will be seen as the female lead of the film.
