Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi to replace Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor in Welcome 3? Here's what we know

‘Welcome’ directed by Aneez Bazmee gained a lot of fandom and now there are reports that for the third instalment Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi will replace Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor in the film.

According to a Pinkvillla report, producer Firoz Nadiadwala has planned a third film for the popular franchise with Sanjay and Arshad. “Of the 3 films under Firoz Nadiadwala’s banner, Welcome might be the first to take off as the script was ready a while back. The filmmaker is planning to bring a spin in the narrative of this comic caper by getting Sanjay Dutt and Arshad to play the notorious gangsters – Majnu and Uday. The duo have already shown their chemistry as Munna and Circuit and now it will be time to explore the dimension in a new franchise,” Pinkvilla reported quoting a source.

While the reports also say that Akshay Kumar, who played the role of Rajiv, will be back for the third instalment.

‘Welcome’ released in 2007 and the second part of the movie ‘Welcome Back’ came in 2017.
