Sharing the early estimates, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, &ldquo;Sam Bahadur Saturday/ day 2 at national chains&hellip; PVR Inox: ₹4.35 crore, Cinepolis: ₹1.1 crore. Total: ₹5.45 crore. Friday was ₹3.60 crore&hellip; Strong word of mouth has come into play.&rdquo;

Talking about it, he told news agency ANI, "It's a very good film. I was super impressed by Vicky's acting. It truly felt like Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw was present. The body language was incredible. It's an important film for all generations to watch, to know the history of our country."

The teaser shows India&rsquo;s first field marshal Sam Manekshaw&rsquo;s dedication to fight for the nation. It shows how he was ready to give everything for his country but wasn&rsquo;t interested in the politics that came with it.&nbsp;
He says in the teaser, &lsquo;Mujhe politics mein koi interest nahi hai (I have no interest in politics),&rsquo; making it clear that serving in a war comes with its political baggage.&nbsp;
&lsquo;Sam Bahadur&rsquo; will also show the 1971 war where he led from the front and which ended with the creation of Bangladesh.
Fatima Sana Shaikh, who stars as Indira Gandhi in the film, tells him that it is the duty of a soldier to sacrifice his life for his country. Sam Manekshaw was the first Indian Army officer to have been promoted to the rank of Field Marshal. He is credited for India&rsquo;s victory over Pakistan in the 1971 war, which led to the creation of Bangladesh. He was the Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army during the 1971 India-Pakistan war and was promoted to Field Marshal by then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi after the war.&nbsp;
Sam Manekshaw passed away at the age of 94 in 2008.

After completing the shoot of &lsquo;Sam Bahadur&rsquo;, filmmaker Meghna Gulzar hosted a wrap party on Tuesday night which was attended by the star cast- Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra, and Fatima Sana Shaikh, and the crew.
