<p><br>Year 2019, Marvel Cinematic Universe left the entire fandom in tears with the ending of 'Avengers: Endgame'. 'Iron Man' aka Tony Stark sacrificed his life and met a heroic ending in the film. He was missed and many wished for his return in some way. Eventually, Marvel heard the prayers and got Robert Downey Jr back to the game but with a new role and he is not alone. Here are the 5 actors who have come home to the producers of biggest superhero films.</p>
<h2>1- Robert Downey Jr as Doctor Doom</h2>
<p>Robert Downey Jr is the man who started this incredible journey in 2008 with 'Iron Man'. However, the Oscar winner has switched suits to re-enter the MCU. After an emotional farewell to the iconic red suit, RDJ will now be donning the green suit in his villain era. Fans will get to see him as Doctor Doom in the upcoming 'Avengers: Doomsday' in 2026.</p>
<h2>2- Hugh Jackman as 'The Wolverine'</h2>
<p>Hugh Jackman's character 'The Wolverine' also died in 2017 film Logan. The actor himself remained adamant that he will not reprise the role. However, Ryan Reynolds travelled to a whole different universe to bring the 'anchor being' back to the Marvel. 'Deadpool &amp; Wolverine' saw the two coming together and bringing the house down for a rollercoaster of action and fun.</p>

<p>Marvel has managed to bring back Robert Downey Jr to 'Avengers'. It did not only take the studios to turn him into a bad guy but a lot more to make it happen.&nbsp;</p>
<p>According to a Variety report, RDJ is getting smore than $670 million to place Doctor Doom in the upcoming 'Avengers' franchise films. That's not all! The 'Iron Man' actor will also be getting some perks like private jet travel, &nbsp;personal security and trailer encampment.</p>
<p>RDJ, who is the highest paid actor in MCU, has reportedly earned around $400-500 million from all the other Marvel films.</p>
<p>Besides him, Russo brothers are being reportedly paid $80 million to direct 'Avengers: Doomsday' and 'Avengers: Secret Wars'. The director duo's deal with Marvel also includes performance escalators that kick in at the $750 million and $1 billion thresholds, as pre the report.'</p>
<p>Joe and Anthony are also co-producing the upcoming two films in 'Avengers' franchise' under their production banner AGBO. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Comic-Con 2024 took place between July 25-July 28 in San Diego and had the best in store. From a surprise screening of 'Deadpool &amp; Wolverine' to Marvel dropping some even bigger surprise announcements, the event was a gold mine for the comics and cine lovers.&nbsp;</p>
<h2>1. RDJ doomed to return</h2>
<p>Riding high on the success of 'Deadpool &amp; Wolverine', Marvel Studios is back on the success trail and it certainly wants to keep it up. The man who was at the beginning of it all is back. From being a superhero loved by billions, Robert Downey Jr has been hired to play the biggest supervillain by Marvel Studios. Jaws dropped when RDJ removed his mask and unveiled himself as Marvel's Doctor Doom. The Oscar winning actor will play Victor Von Doom in the upcoming Avengers films. "Different mask, same task," RDJ said at Comic Con.&nbsp;</p>

Harrison Ford, who is set to make his MCU debut as President Thaddeus Ross, joined the team on Comic Con stage as they revealed some exclusive glimpse from the film slated to release on Februrary 14, 2025.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After the failure of some of the recent movies and some major setbacks, Marvel is revamping and ready to shatter box office records. 'Avengers: Kang Dynasty' &nbsp;which was supposed to be the next 'Avengers' movie was scrapped after Jonathan Majors who played Kang was convicted and fired from Marvel Studios.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>4. 'The Fantastic Four' announcement</h2>
<p>After X-men, MCU is also aiming to bring back the 'Fantastic Four' superheroes, courtesy Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox. Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach have been hired to do the job in one of the most anticipated films of MCU, titled 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps'. The film is entering production stage on July 30 and Marvel boss Kevin Feige has also confirmed that the team will also have a role in the next two 'Avengers' movies.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Critics Choice Awards 2024 kept everyone hooked. The love from theatres translated into awards for &lsquo;Oppenheimer&rsquo; and &lsquo;Barbie&rsquo; at the event with Hollywood A-listers marking their presence. &lsquo;Iron man&rsquo; Rober Downey Jr captivated the attention of the audience at the awards event as he left them in splits during his acceptance speech.</p>

<p>In his description, the seller claimed that during &nbsp;the event Downey Junior himself put his gum on Jon Favreau and presumably left it there, which he was able to snag.</p>

<p>In a bizarre move, a Robert Downey Junior fan is selling online what he is claims is a gum chewed by the actor, as per media reports.</p>
<p>The New York Post reported that Marvel star Downey who recently attended Jon Favreau's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony stuck his gum directly on the star in casual banter.</p>
<p>The chewed gum which has been listed on E-bay has been described by the seller as Downey's. In his description, the seller claimed that "during &nbsp;the event, the actor himself put his gum on Jon Favreau's star and presumably left it there, which he was able to snag."</p>
<p>Reports suggest that there is no confirmation if the gum actually belongs to Downey, the seller, however, in his listing claimed that it could be tested for Downey's DNA.</p>
<p>The online auction which ends on April 1, 2023 has a starting bid of over $40,000 (Rs 32,56,227). The "lucky bidder" will reportedly get the used gum in a plastic container.</p>
