A hospital source confirmed that the 73-year-old actor is scheduled to undergo an elective procedure on October 1, overseen by interventional cardiologist Dr. Sai Satish in the cardiac catheterization lab.</p>

A Bollywood Hungama report has said that ‘Jawan’ fame director, Atlee, is trying to bring together Rajinikanth and Salman for the biggest pan-India film.

<p>2024 has seen the biggest collaborations ever and if a latest media report is to be believed, the ultimate collaboration is being planned. A Bollywood Hungama report has said that &lsquo;Jawan&rsquo; fame director, Atlee, is all set to bring the biggest stars of Indian cinema together. Here is the tea. &nbsp;</p>
<p>The biggest collaboration announced so far is Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan for the YRF spyverse film- &lsquo;Tiger Vs Pathaan&rsquo;. According to the report, Atlee has thought beyond everyone&rsquo;s imagination and is trying to bring together Rajinikanth and Salman for the biggest pan-India film. &nbsp;</p>
<p>The report quoting sources said that Atlee will be meeting the two actors next month. "Sun Pictures will be producing the film and they share a family-like bond with superstar Rajinikanth. <p>Rajinikanth landed in Dehradun earlier this week. The ad firm alleged that Latha was the guarantor for the same. <p>Superstar Rajinikanth celebrated his 73rd birthday on December 12 and heartfelt wishes poured in for him from fans and fellow industry colleagues on social media.</p>
<p>Shah Rukh Khan also extended his best wishes to the iconic star. Sharing a still from &lsquo;Chennai Express&rsquo; in which he danced to the song &lsquo;Lungi Dance&rsquo; as a special tribute to Thalaiva, SRK sent big hugs and love to the inimitable legend.</p>

<p>Megastar Rajinikanth is currently busy with the shooting of his upcoming film &lsquo;Thalaivar 170&rsquo;, directed by TJ Gnanavel.</p>
<p>He was seen at the Tuticorin airport in Tamil Nadu on October 16 where he briefly interacted with the media stationed outside and spoke about Thalapathy Vijay's forthcoming movie 'Leo'.</p>
<p>When asked about the Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial, Rajinikanth said that he is praying for the success of the film.</p>
<p>He said, &lsquo;I wish the film [Leo] great success and I will pray for the same. I came to Tuticorin back in the 70s during the shooting of 'Bhuvana Oru Kelvi Kuri'.&rsquo;<br>Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo' will be released in theatres on October 19 in multiple languages. Vijay's ardent fans are waiting with bated breath to watch the film.<br>The high-octane action thriller is produced by Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy. The film's screenplay is co-written by Lokesh, Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy.<br>Thalapathy Vijay plays the titular role in the film.</p>
<p>The movie also features Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan and Priya Anand in pivotal roles. Composer Anirudh Ravichander, cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa and editor Philomin Raj are part of the technical crew.</p>
<p>&lsquo;Leo&rsquo; has sold 1 million tickets in India for its opening day, according to trade portal Sacnilk. First Day First Show of the film in Karnataka and Kerala will begin as early as 4 am.</p>
<p>&lsquo;Leo&rsquo; will release in theatres in 2D and IMAX formats alongside Shiva Rajkumar&rsquo;s &lsquo;Ghost&rsquo; in Karnataka and Nandamuri Balakrishna&rsquo;s &lsquo;Bhagavanth Kesari&rsquo; in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.</p>
<p>The film will also clash with Ravi Teja&rsquo;s pan-India venture &lsquo;Tiger Nageshwara Rao&rsquo; on October 20.</p>

<p>Rajnikanth&rsquo;s fans who are eagerly waiting for his next project 'Lal Salaam' were treat to a new poster from the movie.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Lyca Productions took to Twitter on October 1 to share the poster and wrote, "Lal Salaam to hit screens on Pongal 2024." The poster has a red background where Rajinikanth stands in front of a vintage car. Fans have reacted to the post and&nbsp; said they can&rsquo;t wait to see their favourite star on screen.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The superstar had finished shooting for daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth's directorial &lsquo;Lal Salaam&rsquo; in July. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Sivakarthikeyan's Ayalaan, Sundar C's Aranmanai 4, Arun Vijay's Vanangaan are also scheduled to release during that time. &nbsp;<br>'Lal Salaam' is produced by Lyca Productions and presented by A Subaskaran.</p>
<p>Lal Salaam will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. Rajinikanth plays the role of character named Moideen Bhai in the film that also stars former cricketer Kapil Dev.&nbsp;</p>
