Dharmendra&rsquo;s daughter Esha Deol on Tuesday said the veteran actor is &ldquo;stable and recovering,&rdquo; urging the media to stop circulating false news about his health as the 89-year-old star remains under observation at a Mumbai hospital.
&ldquo;The media seems to be in over-drive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for papa&rsquo;s speedy recovery,&rdquo; Esha wrote on Instagram.

Her post came amid reports of Dharmendra&rsquo;s demise. He has been in and out of south Mumbai&rsquo;s Breach Candy Hospital for several days.
On Monday night, his wife, actor-politician Hema Malini, also appealed for calm and prayers.
&ldquo;I thank everyone for their concern about Dharam ji who is in hospital for observation. He is being continuously monitored and we are all with him. I request you all to pray for his welfare and speedy recovery,&rdquo; she posted on X.
A representative for his son, actor and BJP MP Sunny Deol, denied speculation that the &ldquo;Sholay&rdquo; star had been put on a ventilator.
"Mr Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available. Kindly don't indulge in spreading false rumours regarding his health. Request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family's right to privacy,&rdquo; the PR representative said.
Hema Malini, Sunny Deol, and Esha Deol are currently at the hospital. Superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan visited the family, while actor Govinda was also seen at the hospital earlier in the day.

Bobby Deol hinted about a sequel to 'Soldier,' expressing his desire for Taurani to pursue it. Taurani, who recently released the sequel to 'Ishq Vishk' titled 'Ishq Vishk Rebound,' has now confirmed exclusively to News18 Showsha that the sequel to 'Soldier' is in work. 'We&rsquo;re definitely making a sequel to Soldier. We will begin shooting for the film next year,' he disclosed.
Regarding the cast for 'Soldier 2,' Taurani mentioned that they haven't finalised anything yet. 'We aren&rsquo;t sure about the cast yet. Depends on how the story shapes, we will take a call on whether Bobby and Preity will be a part of it,' he stated.
Reflecting on Preity Zinta's entry into Bollywood through 'Soldier,' Taurani recalled, 'We had signed her for 'Kya Kehnaa' first but its release got delayed. During its production, 'Soldier,' which was a major project for us, started filming, and we ended up casting her in that too.'
Explaining the delay Taurani revealed, 'Soldier' was ready by April 1998, and we initially planned to release it in August. However, we also owned the music rights for another Bobby Deol film, 'Kareeb,' produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. We decided to release 'Kareeb' earlier to avoid conflict.'
He emphasised the strategic planning involved in managing multiple film releases, 'We were concerned about the impact on both films if trailers and promotions clashed. Releasing both in the same month wasn't feasible, hence 'Kareeb' was prioritised.'
In a previous interview, Bobby Deol had hinted at the sequel, mentioning, 'It&rsquo;s been a long time! Maybe after 'Animal,' Ramesh ji, will think of making 'Soldier' part two with me.'

Bobby said, &lsquo;That&rsquo;s the most important thing for an actor. I meet young kids and I keep telling them that you&rsquo;ve to really be prepared. Like my sons, they want to be actors, and I keep telling them ki first apni Hindi theek karo. Hindi theek se nahi bolte kyuki aadat nahi hai na. Sab angrezi bolte hain ek doosre se (They are not used to talking in Hindi, they all talk to each other in English). I just want Aryaman to train and really work hard on himself.&rdquo; He added that both of his sons have different qualities and that his youngest son began filmmaking on his own during Covid-19 pandemic. Further talking about Dharam, Bobby said, &ldquo;He loves everything about filmmaking, from editing to background, visuals, all things. I want to do different characters and as I have said before, I want to break my image, get challenged and be very uncomfortable as an actor.&rsquo;

'Stardom doesn&rsquo;t last too long. I was a star once, and it died, it vanished. No one took me seriously as an actor. I knew I had the potential, and the capabilities but nobody had given me an opportunity. I had chosen work which didn&rsquo;t work for me so things went the other way around. So, I tried working on that and worked on myself as an actor,' Deol said&nbsp;
He added &lsquo;I knew that, if I fall, my parents will always be the cushion. But the fall hurts no matter how much cushion they gave me. As an individual guy, I had to stand up. No one can make or break you.'
Talking about acceptance, the &lsquo;Houseful 4&rsquo; actor said, &lsquo;In a society everybody goes through the issue of being accepted and being understood. But human beings are selfish. There is a time when everybody wants you and there will be a time when nobody wants you. I have been through that and I gave up. I fought back and I realised that I have to make them (people) want me. How do I do that? By being a positive energy. Everyone needs to try to keep that positive energy. It is very difficult to do that. (But) I have been through it. There are weak moments in a day itself. I&rsquo;m feeling absolutely happy, then during the middle of the day I feel weak and then at night, I&rsquo;m happy. We all go through it.&rsquo;
