WhatsApp has unveiled its latest Windows desktop app which boasts a speedy load time and a user interface that will be familiar to both Windows and WhatsApp users.

WhatsApp has unveiled its latest Windows desktop app which boasts a speedy load time and a user interface that will be familiar to both Windows and WhatsApp users. The app also enables group video calls with up to eight people and audio calls with up to 32 people and WhatsApp plans to increase these limits in the future.

The app has also received other upgrades including faster device linking improved syncing across devices and new features such as link previews and stickers. WhatsApp has also recently expanded its device support to Android tablets and is currently beta-testing a faster app for Mac desktops. The company has also announced that users can now link their WhatsApp accounts to up to four devices allowing chats to stay synced and encrypted even when the user's phone is offline.
