Twitter to soon have the option to edit tweets

Twitter has officially announced the arrival of an edit button on the platform.

The official account of the platform Twitter that the edit button is being tested and it is possible that you will see a modified Tweet.

The edit button has been one of the most-requested features by Twitterati since the platform's inception. Until now, tweets could only be deleted; they could not be edited.

We anticipate that Twitter will make modifications that will indicate when a tweet has been modified in the past.

However, in the next weeks, this functionality will be only available to Twitter Blue paid subscription members.

It is reported that during the test, tweets may be modified many times within 30 minutes after their publication. To make it evident to readers that the original tweet has been edited, edited tweets will include an icon, timestamp, and label.
