In a recent development, Sony PS5 has announced the introduction of its latest gaming console variant, the Sony PS5 Slim, to the Indian market. This announcement includes a unique partnership with Blinkit, India's leading delivery app, promising a novel purchasing experience for gamers. Blinkit Sony PS5 Slim Delivery

Starting April 5, 2024, Blinkit will offer the PS5 Slim for purchase through its mobile application on both Android and iOS platforms.The news was announced by Blinkit’s CEO Albinder Dhindsa via a post on their official X (formerly Twitter) handle.

The service promises doorstep delivery within 10 minutes, though the offer is limited to select cities in India. Customers can choose from two versions of the console, the PS5 Slim with a disc drive and the digital edition.

Sony PS5 Slim India Release Date and Pre-Order Details

The PS5 Slim will be available for direct purchase from April 5, 2024. Pre-order banners for the console were also announced to appear in the same week. Flipkart, along with other retailers like ShopAtSC, Croma, and Amazon India, are listed as official partners for the pre-order and sale of the console.

Sony PS5 Price in India

The PS5 Slim price with disc drive in India is set at INR 54,990, while the PS5 Slim price digital edition in India is priced at INR 44,990. These prices will remain consistent across all retail platforms, including Blinkit.

Additionally, a special bundle, including Cricket 24 can also be expected to be available according to reports, priced as low as INR 47,000.

The PS5 Slim distinguishes itself with an attachable Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Drive and a 1TB SSD for enhanced storage capabilities. The console aims to provide a compact yet powerful gaming experience.

As for the standard PlayStation 5, It is noted that the existing stock will continue to be available until completely sold out, ensuring options remain for gamers preferring the original model.
