Nothing Phone (1) gains Jio True 5G support

Nothing has begun distributing the Nothing OS 1.1.5 update to the Phone (1), which adds compatibility for Jio True 5G networks.

While Nothing Phone (1) already supported Airtel 5G, Phone (1) is now the first and only smartphone in India to gain Jio True 5G with this upgrade.

Nothing is now rolling out the upgrade in parts, and the process will be completed by Diwali, 24 October 2022.

The Nothing Phone (1) stands out from the crowd thanks to its back panel, which exposes a few internals of the gadget. Its rear panel also incorporates LEDs which glow in various patterns.

It is an upper midrange Android device with a 6.55-inch OLED screen and a refresh rate of 120 hz. Powered by a Snapdragon 778G+ chip, this phone gets up to 12GB of RAM.

There is a 4,500 mAh battery inside, and it can be charged at 33W through wired fast charging. There is no in-box charger, though. Wireless charging at 15W is also standard.

The phone's primary camera is 50MP, and it's paired with another 50MP sensor that features an ultra-wide lens.

The selfie camera of the phone has a resolution of 16MP and is positioned inside a display hole punch.
