The report describes this as "meeting debt", an often invisible productivity cost that builds over time but rarely appears on a balance sheet.</p>
<p>India appears to be among the countries feeling the impact the most. Employees here spend an average of 8.8 hours every week in meetings, one of the highest figures among the seven markets surveyed, while 90 per cent say they experience some level of meeting dread.</p>
<h2><strong>More meetings, less productivity</strong></h2>
<p>The report surveyed over 2,300 knowledge workers across seven countries and found that the average employee spends nearly two-and-a-half months every year in meetings. Yet workers believe 58 per cent of that meeting time is unnecessary, equivalent to roughly 26 working days lost annually per employee.</p>
<p>The findings suggest the problem isn't simply the amount of time spent in meetings, but how little value many of them create. Employees who spend more time in meetings are also more likely to dread them, highlighting what the report describes as a growing disconnect between collaboration and productivity.</p>
<h2><strong>The real cost begins after the meeting ends</strong></h2>
<p>One of the report's biggest findings is that the damage caused by a bad meeting often continues long after everyone has left the room.</p>

Around 75 per cent of hybrid meetings experience at least one technical failure, while roughly seven in ten meetings involve participants struggling to see or hear each other clearly. Hybrid meetings were also found to be significantly more prone to technical issues than fully remote sessions.</p>
<p>Taken together, the report argues that these seemingly minor disruptions accumulate into what it calls "meeting debt", quietly reducing efficiency across organisations.</p>
<h2><strong>AI isn't the silver bullet</strong></h2>
<p>The study also questions the belief that AI alone can solve workplace collaboration problems.</p>
<p>Although three-quarters of employees have experimented with AI-powered meeting tools, fewer than one in three use them regularly. <p>As the name suggests, the Ear (stick) comes with a cylindrical charging case which resembles lipstick. The company claims that this new case is more compact and therefore easier to carry around than the square-shaped case of the Ear (1).</p>
<p>While the earbuds themselves have not been unveiled, we expect them to look similar to standard Ear (1).</p>
<p>The launch date of the Nothing ear stick is yet to be revealed.</p>

<p>For most of us, chargers are purely functional. We pay close attention to the phones we buy, spend hours picking out the right accessories for our desks and carefully curate the gadgets we use every day. Yet the one device that powers all of them is usually an afterthought, destined to disappear behind furniture or remain permanently plugged into a wall socket.</p>
<p>That contrast stood out to me while testing the DailyObjects Node ecosystem over the past month. You get an enormous 8,000mAh battery, a sturdy build, a clean software experience and hardware that's aimed at dependable everyday use instead of headline-grabbing benchmark scores.</p>

Although the rear module appears to house three cameras, only the main sensor plays a significant role in day-to-day photography.</p>

Beyond the redesigned camera housing, the two devices share an almost identical chassis, matching button layout, ports and overall ergonomics. It's fairly evident that both phones originate from the same underlying hardware platform.</p>
<p>The plastic frame and back panel might raise eyebrows in this price bracket, but they also make practical sense. Packing an 8,000mAh battery into a slimmer device is no easy task, and lighter materials help prevent the N6 from becoming unnecessarily cumbersome. <p>My biggest gripe is the resolution. At this price, I expected at least a Full HD panel. With several rivals already offering sharper displays, the N6's HD+ screen feels like a noticeable compromise. It's not something you'll constantly think about, but smaller text isn't as crisp and high-resolution videos lose some of their impact. If content consumption is a priority, you'll almost certainly notice the difference.</p>
<p>Thankfully, the panel gets a few important things right. The 120Hz refresh rate makes everyday interactions feel smooth, whether I was switching between apps, scrolling endlessly through social media or simply navigating OxygenOS. Brightness is another pleasant surprise. Even outdoors in bright daylight, the display remained easy to read, making maps, messages and notifications perfectly visible.</p>
<p>Being an LCD panel, however, it can't match the richer contrast or vibrant colours of an AMOLED screen. Blacks appear greyish in darker scenes, and the lack of HDR support means streaming content never looks quite as immersive as it does on competing devices.</p>
<p>The speaker setup follows a similar pattern. OnePlus has opted for a single bottom-firing unit instead of stereo speakers. Volume certainly isn't an issue, especially with the company's 400% Ultra Volume mode enabled, but the sound itself lacks fullness. Dialogue remains clear enough for YouTube videos, voice calls and social media clips, yet music sounds flat and films miss the sense of width that dual speakers create. It gets the job done for everyday use, but I'd still reach for a pair of wireless earbuds whenever I wanted a more enjoyable listening experience.</p>

Sharpness is perfectly adequate for sharing on social media, and I found autofocus to be quick and dependable. For everyday photography, whether you're capturing food, pets or landscapes, the camera rarely lets you down.</p>
<p>The cracks begin to show once you move outside its comfort zone. Since there's no dedicated telephoto camera, zoom relies entirely on digital cropping, and image quality takes a noticeable hit as you magnify your shots. Night photography is similarly predictable. The camera can produce usable images after sunset, but finer textures soften considerably, noise becomes more visible and overall detail isn't particularly impressive.</p>
<p>Around the front, the 8MP selfie camera is functional without standing out. It captures decent-looking selfies in daylight, skin tones remain fairly natural and it's more than capable for video calls or the occasional social media post. That said, an 8MP sensor feels slightly behind the curve in this price segment.</p>
<p>Video recording tops out at 1080p at 60fps. While I would've welcomed the option to shoot in 4K, the higher frame rate does make handheld clips appear smoother, and that's likely to matter more to most buyers.</p>
<p>OnePlus also includes a healthy selection of AI editing features, including AI Eraser, AI Reflection Eraser, AI Unblur, AI Perfect Shot and AI Reframe. They can occasionally rescue a photo or tidy up unwanted distractions, but they're supplementary rather than transformative. As a whole, the N6's camera system is dependable instead of exciting, and for the audience this phone targets, that's probably the right balance.</p>

<p>The Dimensity 6360 is only a modest upgrade over the Dimensity 6300 used in the Realme P4R, with the biggest difference being a slightly faster graphics processor. Unsurprisingly, benchmark results are almost identical. The N6 scored just over 615,000 in AnTuTu, while Geekbench produced scores of 781 in the single-core test and 1,964 in the multi-core test. Those figures won't impress power users, but they're perfectly in line with what this hardware is designed to offer.</p>
<p>Gaming performance is respectable without being exceptional. BGMI maintained close to 60fps during my testing, and the large 5,300mm&sup2; vapour chamber kept temperatures under control even during extended sessions. Bypass charging is another welcome addition, especially if you like gaming while plugged in.</p>
<p>The N6 isn't the phone I'd recommend to someone looking for flagship-level gaming or demanding workloads. However, if your daily routine revolves around messaging, streaming, browsing, navigation and the occasional game, it performs reliably. It may not be the fastest device in its class, but it delivers a stable, fuss-free experience, and that's exactly what OnePlus set out to achieve.</p>

Outstanding battery life, dependable day-to-day performance, clean software and a reassuringly solid build make the N6 an easy phone to recommend for the right buyer.</p>
<p>Its biggest challenge comes from the Realme P4R, a device that shares much of the same hardware. If the gap between the two stretches to several thousand rupees, the Realme is difficult to ignore. However, even though the P4R is cheaper by about ₹5000, I'd happily spend the extra on the OnePlus. OxygenOS 16 feels more refined, and that's something you'll appreciate every day. If reliability matters more than raw specifications, the OnePlus N6 is a worthwhile buy.</p>

The 8GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs 31,999, while the top-end 8GB + 256GB variant costs Rs 37,499. Samsung is also offering zero down-payment EMI schemes and flexible financing options through select lending partners.</p>
<h2><strong>Samsung Galaxy A27 5G Design &amp; Display</strong></h2>
<p>At first glance, the Galaxy A27 5G looks unmistakably Samsung. The flat frame, clean rear panel and centred punch-hole camera continue the company's established design language, although the refreshed colour palette helps distinguish it from earlier Galaxy A devices.</p>
<p>Our Light Green review unit is particularly interesting. Despite its name, the finish carries subtle blue undertones that shift depending on the lighting, giving the phone a more premium appearance than expected. The matte finish around the camera module also blends nicely into the rear panel, while the flush-mounted LED flash keeps the design clean and understated.</p>
<p>Samsung has also made some practical improvements. Gorilla Glass Victus+ protects the front, the phone carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, and Samsung claims it can survive drops of up to two metres. The 7.8mm chassis feels reasonably slim, while the 200g weight gives the device a reassuring heft without making it uncomfortable to hold. The bezels, particularly along the bottom, are still noticeable, but they don't significantly detract from the overall experience.</p>
<p>The display continues to be one of the Galaxy A27's biggest strengths. It features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering vibrant colours, deep blacks and fluid animations. Peak brightness reaches 1,400 nits, with 800 nits available under High Brightness Mode, which should make outdoor visibility reasonably comfortable.</p>
<p>In our brief time with the phone, the panel looked excellent. Scrolling felt smooth, colours were punchy without appearing overly saturated, and viewing angles were impressive. We'll reserve judgement on outdoor visibility and colour calibration until our full review, but the early signs are promising.</p>
<h2><strong>Samsung Galaxy A27 5G Performance &amp; Software</strong></h2>
<p>Perhaps the most significant upgrade this year is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. Samsung claims sizeable improvements in CPU, GPU and AI performance over the previous generation, while pairing the chipset with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage for faster app loading and multitasking.</p>
<p>Initial performance has been encouraging. Navigation feels responsive, animations remain smooth, and app switching is quick during everyday use. The real test, however, will come under sustained gaming loads and extended multitasking, areas we'll explore in greater detail in our full review.</p>
<p>On the software side, the Galaxy A27 ships with One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 and stands out by offering six Android OS upgrades alongside six years of security updates, placing it among the best-supported phones in its segment.</p>
<p>Samsung has also packed in a generous selection of AI features. Circle to Search now supports multiple objects simultaneously, Object Eraser has been improved, while Live Transcription, Google Gemini, Perplexity integration and Bixby enhancements aim to make everyday tasks more convenient. Unlike many competitors, several of the editing tools work natively on the device rather than relying on cloud processing.</p>

<p>From our initial testing, the 50MP main camera looks very impressive , particularly thanks to the inclusion of OIS and support for 4K video recording on the rear camera. The macro camera feels like a less useful addition than a dedicated telephoto lens would have been, but Samsung's image processing has generally delivered reliable results on previous Galaxy A-series phones.</p>
<p>We haven't spent enough time with the cameras to draw any firm conclusions yet. Daylight performance appears promising, and OIS should help in low-light situations, but we'll need more time to evaluate portrait quality, video stabilisation, dynamic range and zoom performance before delivering a final verdict.</p>

<p>Based on our initial experience, the phone should comfortably last a full day on a single charge, with lighter users potentially stretching it into a second day. Charging speeds remain modest compared to several rivals, however, and this is one area where Samsung continues to lag behind the competition.</p>

<p>The Galaxy A27 5G doesn't reinvent Samsung's mid-range formula, but it makes several sensible upgrades where they matter most.
