New Sony PS5 bundle leaked, includes 24-month PS Plus Premium subscription

Zuby_Tech who previously leaked details about a PS5 bundle, posted images on Twitter suggesting an upcoming PlayStation Plus bundle. These images imply that Sony is preparing to release a PS5 console accompanied by a 24-month subscription to PlayStation Plus Premium. Sony Interactive Entertainment’s CEO disclosed that 30% of PlayStation Plus users subscribe to the Premium and Extra tiers. As of March 2023, the Premium subscribers amounted to 8 million (17% of total subscriptions), while the Extra subscribers reached 6.1 million (13% of total subscriptions). The remaining 33.3 million users (70% of total subscriptions) opted for the Essential tier. Sony recently announced the commencement of testing for cloud streaming of PS5 games, an exclusive feature available to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers upon its launch. This service will encompass PS5 games from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue, Game Trials, and digitally owned titles. Notably, the June lineup for PlayStation Plus includes Far Cry 6, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge, Tacoma, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Killzone: Liberation, Worms, and Herc's Adventures.
