Vivo X200 Pro ASMR Unboxing: Check Features, Price and more

Vivo X200 Pro launches in India with a 200MP camera and a 6000mAh battery, featuring fast charging and a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset for superior performance.

Vivo X200 Pro ASMR Unboxing: Check Features, Price and more

The Vivo X200 Pro has officially launched in India, and it comes packed with some impressive upgrades over its predecessor, the Vivo X100 Pro. From a brighter display and faster performance to the much-hyped 200MP telephoto camera, this phone seems ready to redefine expectations in its segment. Let’s take a closer look at the device to see what Vivo is offering this time around.

Vivo X200 Ultra Unoxing

Vivo has included the essentials in the X200 Pro’s box:

  • Vivo X200 Pro (16GB + 512GB) in Titanium Grey
  • Clear silicon case
  • USB Type-C cable
  • 90W Super FlashCharge adapter
  • SIM ejector tool
  • Quick start guide and warranty information

It’s nice to see a fast charger included, especially as many brands are starting to skip this.

Vivo X200 Pro Design

At first glance, the Vivo X200 Pro looks premium, thanks to its sleek design and attention to detail. The Titanium Grey version has a brushed metal finish that not only looks great but also provides a good grip. Vivo has also introduced IP68 and IP69 ratings for the first time, making the phone more durable against water and dust.

The phone has a metal frame with a matte finish, making it resistant to fingerprints. At 228 grams, it’s slightly heavier than some competitors, but the weight distribution is decent. The Cosmos Black variant is a bit lighter and features a matte black finish, catering to those who prefer a classic look.

Vivo has also added wet-finger screen control, which means you can use the phone for gaming, calling, or photography even with wet hands—a thoughtful addition for everyday scenarios.

Vivo X200 Pro Display

The Vivo X200 Pro boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K+ resolution (2800 × 1260 pixels). Vivo claims the screen can reach up to 4500 nits of peak brightness, which is excellent for outdoor visibility. Colors pop brilliantly, thanks to support for 1.07 billion colors and the ZEISS Master Color Display.

The LTPO technology enables a dynamic refresh rate ranging from 0.1Hz to 120Hz. Scrolling through the UI and playing games feels buttery smooth. You can also tweak the display settings with modes like Standard, Professional, and Bright.

For video lovers, there’s support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. Whether you’re binge-watching Netflix or streaming on YouTube, the visuals are crisp and immersive.

Vivo X200 Pro Camera

Cameras have always been a strong suit for Vivo, and the X200 Pro is no exception. The device features:

  • 50MP main camera (Sony LYT-818 sensor) with ZEISS T* coating and OIS
  • 50MP ultra-wide camera with Samsung JN1 sensor
  • 200MP telephoto camera with Samsung HP9 APO sensor, 3.7x optical zoom, and telemacro capabilities
  • 32MP front camera

The 200MP telephoto lens steals the show here, offering impressive zoom capabilities and excellent results even in challenging lighting conditions. Vivo’s collaboration with ZEISS ensures edge detection in portrait mode is sharp and natural, while the telemacro shots are a game-changer for capturing intricate details.

The camera app includes features like Pro Sports mode, Supermoon mode, and even a new Stage mode for concerts. The 4K portrait video and Dolby Vision HDR recording are standout additions for content creators.

Vivo X200 Pro Performance

Powering the Vivo X200 Pro is the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip. This chipset, built on TSMC’s 3nm process, offers a 35% boost in single-core performance and a 28% boost in multi-core performance compared to its predecessor.

Paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, the phone handles multitasking, gaming, and heavy apps with ease. During a quick gaming session with titles like BGMI and COD, there were no noticeable frame drops.

Vivo X200 Pro Battery Life

The 6000mAh battery is another highlight of the Vivo X200 Pro. Vivo’s Silicon-Carbon battery technology ensures reliable performance, even in extreme temperatures. In real-world usage, the phone easily lasts over a day with moderate to heavy use.

Fast charging is supported at 80W, which takes the phone from 0 to 50% in about 20 minutes. However, the phone gets a bit warm during charging. There’s also 30W wireless charging, but you’ll need Vivo’s proprietary charger, which is no longer sold—a minor inconvenience.

Vivo X200 Pro Software

The X200 Pro runs on Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15. Vivo has promised four years of OS updates and five years of security updates, a welcome move for long-term users.

Funtouch OS 15 introduces new features like Vivo’s Priority Scheduling for faster app launches, AI-powered call translation, and enhanced collaboration with Windows devices. While the interface is feature-rich, it still comes with a bit of bloatware.

Vivo X200 Pro First Impressions

The Vivo X200 Pro makes a strong case for itself with its robust camera setup, stunning display, and powerful performance. While the ultra-wide and front cameras leave room for improvement, the overall package is impressive.

Priced at ₹94,999, it’s a premium offering, but it delivers on most fronts. If photography, display quality, and all-day battery life are your priorities, the Vivo X200 Pro is worth considering.

The vivo X200 Pro has made a strong first impression. Its standout features—like the stunning display, innovative camera setup, and flagship-grade performance—make it a compelling option for those looking for a premium smartphone.

However, at ₹94,999, it faces stiff competition from the likes of the OPPO Find X8 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, and Google Pixel 9 Pro. Each of these phones offers unique strengths, so choosing the X200 Pro will depend on how much you value its ZEISS-enhanced cameras and battery life.

Stay tuned for a full review where we’ll dive deeper into its performance, camera capabilities, and overall usability.
