Samsung unveils Galaxy Z Flip 5 Maison Margiela Edition: See what’s new

Samsung has officially announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 Maison Margiela Edition, the latest special edition of its popular flip smartphone.

This exclusive release is the result of a collaboration between Samsung and Maison Margiela, a renowned French luxury fashion house headquartered in Paris.

The Maison Margiela edition joins the ranks of other special editions such as the Retro Edition, Special Colour Edition, and BTS Edition, marking Samsung's continued effort to cater to diverse consumer preferences.

Price and Availability

As of now, Samsung has not disclosed the pricing details for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 Maison Margiela edition. Additionally, information regarding the specific markets where this special edition will be available for purchase remains undisclosed.

However, the official announcement confirms that the smartphone will be available for sale in select markets starting from November 30.

Special Features

This new iteration of the collaboration between Samsung and Maison Margiela follows their successful partnership on the Galaxy Z Flip 4 special edition last year.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5 Maison Margiela edition boasts distinctive features, particularly its rear glass design, which boldly showcases the inner workings reminiscent of a Maison Margiela jacket, accentuated by silver and metallic effects.

This unique design aims to capture the essence that transcends traditional visual appeal by creating a semi-transparent effect that reveals the hidden structure and intricate details of the garment.

In line with special edition releases, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 Maison Margiela edition will be accompanied by a distinctive retail box containing special in-box contents.

These include a Flap Leather Case, a Flipsuit Case, and two Flipsuit Cards, each offering unique design elements that contribute to the overall exclusivity of the handset.

The leather case, featuring hand woven stitching on the back and genuine fabric logo labels, also integrates a pocket pattern that is revealed upon opening the device and concealed upon closing it.
